Ill add void staff to the build as essential thanks for the feedback
First off, countering someone with a channel is not a reason to play a champion. People how are laning against them will choose champions that do the something and more. Also, there are more viable magic damage junglers out there, for example Elise and Amumu.
Your clears would be trash. The only thing he has going for him is his W and it's very small at that. His other spells are mediocre early on and on a long cool-down. His E would also become useless, you can't use it in the jungle because it's so hard to get available to you without enemies to give you stacks. **** the math (hopefully correctly) it would take minimum 24 seconds to get it ready. Besides that your Q is useless, low damage and magic shield won't help much.
He can not gank before 6. Well, of course he can, but so can anyone. The problem is that he only has his slow. Without a gap closer, decent damage and strong CC it'll be hard to force engages onto the champion you're trying to gank, most of the effort needing to come from the allied lane themselves which is not always convenient.
As for a sort of spike at 6 (if he even gets there) his ULT, while a really strong gap closer, doesn't take away the fact that:
In regards to the build you need magic pen, Void Staff is not just another option, it's mandatory so that if you're a threat later on your damage doesn't fall off if they stack MR.
Flash is mandatory. It has so many uses, and either way Teleport is a very unreliable way of enhancing you're roaming as a jungler.
For runes you might want Hybrid Pen Marks to help your clears and maybe even 2 Armor Quints to help with jungle durability considering how squishy and slow Kassadin is in the jungle.
