Introduction
BUT, there isn't much of an early game in Dominion and even when you die, you still get an equal amount of income and experience. So, most of a Dominion game is the midgame and endgame, and Kassadin has a destructive midgame (if played right) and (if played right) can end up winning/AP carrying your team through the end game. And, due to the size of the map, people will feel as if you're everywhere at once, especially seeing as it takes four second to get from top to bottom.
Tell your team mates to use their abilities to charge your E. First thing you buy are the sorc boots. When the game (this IS Dominion) actually begins, ghost to the speed boost thingy, and run top. I am always the first one there (excluding Rammus who you should ban). Take as much of the top capture point as you can, but more importantly deal as much initial damage as you can before you kill someone. By this i mean that with the AOE spread of your E (which will quickly reach level 2 at just about the same time you reach the top capture point), do as much damage to as many people as possible. The sorc boots make this really easy to do.
Usually by the time you die you will have one or two kills and/or about 1000 gold. Use this money to buy Tears of the Goddess. This is a crucial point in the game. Tears allows you to build up the required mana for RiftWalk(R), which will wreck people.
You're gonna be recalling alot, but that's OK, because RiftWalk(R) will put you right back in the middle of the tussle once again.

Once you get your ulti up, stack running around, and using RiftWalk(R) to booost your speed, but also do rip people apart. By stacking RiftWalk(R), you become an extremely dangerous force the second you come into vision. Kassadin is a champ that not many players know quite exactly what he does, and will not know that you have stacked RiftWalk(R) 8 times, and that on this RiftWalk(R), the 9th, it's going to deal 1200 damage + any of your other spells (Q & E).

Starting with Sorcerer's Boots will allow you to get TOP as quickly as possible, and will allow you do deal some damage to any enemy champions who get there quickly too. Most importantly, however, you should prevent any enemies who will race there first (like Rammus) and try to capture the point before YOUR team shows up.
Second, TEARS OF THE GODDESS is essential for Kassadin, even in 5v5s, because Kassadin is heavily mana dependent, especially when stacking his ulti, RiftWalk(R). I get TEARS OF THE GODDESS as early as possible so you can get those extra mana stacks up and going.
The next item, I really feel should be Voidstaff. This is because when many people see a Kassadin, especially in Dominion I've noticed, they rush Magic Resist items
because it is actually the smart thing to do. By getting early Magic Resistance Kassadin can be effectively minimized early, and just like in PvP you don't want to be a useless and underfed Kassadin. SO VOIDSTAFF, besides it's not that expensive anyway.
Finish ArchAngel's Staff now, this comes before Rabbadon's because when you GET Rabbadon's you want to have that AP bonus from AAS, and it doesn't set you back too far goldwise.
Next item - RABADDON'S. By the time you finish this item, THE GAME IS NOW OVER!! (if it some how isn't already)

I would recommend that you use these runes, instead of your AD runes... heh, yeah but that's obvious. You shouldn't play Kassadin as AD or melee anyway, and you really should ever be auto-attacking, unless you're level 13 and have your W up and are waiting for the cooldown of your other abilities.
SPEAKING OF COOLDOWN, I take Greater Glyphs of Focus, just to minimalize those damn cooldowns.
For Marks, I take Greater Marks of Insight, for dat magic penetration that holds up so well all game.
As for seals, I am not vegetarion so i eat them wholeheartedly, LOL seal joke.
I take Greats Seals of Replenishment so i can regenerate my mana.
Quints I go for more Magic Penetration, With Greater Quintessences of Insight.

YOUR ULTI IS ****ING AWESOME. STACK IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. IT ALSO ALLOWS YOU TO COVER A LOT OF GROUND.
It is important to know that you can stretch your ulti beyond where is says it can go. Simply click further than it says you can go and WAIT, wtf how did i get over that..? Ya, that's how his ulti works.
