Hello there. I bet you're wondering what the hell I'm thinking building Kassadin so tanky.

Runes

Since this build only uses 1 AP item, offensive glyphs and quints are needed to buff your damage.

Masteries

Like the runes, the masteries are intended to buff Kassadin's damage as much as possible. Spend the 9 leftover points on whatever you wish, although i recommend defensive masteries.

The item build is a bit unusual, building towards a tank of some sort.

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence is standard. Not much to be said.

Summoner Spells

Flash and ignite are fairly straightforward. Being able to blink before level six and twice in quick succession after level 6 is nice. Ignite is nice for finishing people off and stopping those pesky vampers/healers dead in their tracks.

Summary

This is a modified way of building burster Kassadin. You can still do your job (kill squishies), but won't die as easily. Late game, you will have around 500 AP, letting you really munch on those squishies.
