The problem I see with this build is you get your ninja tabi at 4k gold, which can take a while. While you get your first BF sword at 6k gold, which it'll be late game by then. You won't have any damage output early and mid game and by the time you get your bloodthirster at 10k gold, the game will be almost over and Katarina will be practically useless in team fights because she can't deal much damage from one phage and a bloodthirster.
