Katarina AP & AD fusion
plus ill tell you why. first of all the single most important item for her is rylai's not only because of the passive to slow. but the health bonus is amazing for the squishy char. Good teams will always target the squishie with the most dmg first. that will be you. so your going to need some help from that. Also the health is going to help you get your ult of fully before some tryn or shaco comes and crit hits ur for all your health.
Even though AD adds to your damage its magic damage. they are just going to get magic res. but if you stack say sorcs shoes and void staff. THATS EVEN MORE DMG. now already having two AP items on you champ why not get Rabadons right?
and if you have rabadons you might as well stack the ap to get the bonus's.
Hence why AP kat is way better then AD.
your never gonna auto attack ppl as her. you dont attack fast enough anyways.
Voted down. A couple points I'd like to make here.
1) Brutalizer/Youmuu's: Why? Katarina's abilities all do magic damage, and she's not an auto-attacker, so the armor pen and attack speed buff are useless, as well as the crit chance.
2) Guinsoo's Rageblade: See above about Katarina not being an auto-attacker. The extra attack speed from stacks does not do her any good, and though you could argue for the AP stacks it only stacks up on CAST, which means Death Lotus and Bouncing Blade are still only going to add one stack each.

On top of all that, Shunpo is NOT useless for damage. In the right build by late-game it hits for 500+ damage. It's her main single-target finishing nuke... and given that when she gets a kill her cooldowns go down, being able to finish off that one target is more important than doing additional damage to a bunch of other targets that aren't near-death.

Even if you did do this build, you coulda done 10x better with a decent build, not this.
