Hello, today I'm going to show you how I like to play one of my main champions, Katarina. I really hope you enjoy, feel free to Upvote or Downvote, if you find something wrong, or something that should probably be changed please explain in the comments how/why it needs to be changed.

Please remember, this is how I play Katarina.
It doesn't mean that I think its how everyone should play her.

Katarina is a High burst AP assassin, she can take out any squishy without breaking a sweat, but beware. If not positioned right, you won't stand any chance in team fights. She's great against most champions, but then again if shes against the right champ, its almost impossible to win your lane early game. But late game, if you have the right items, she can come-back easily! Her late game burst can usually carry your team to victory.

+ Great Farmer - Interruptable Ult
+ Great Ganker
+ High burst
+ Lots of AoE
+ Lots of Poke

I like movement speed on Kat because I like to be able to get around, MagicPen because yolo, Armor for the ADC's, and AP for damage. :D Not the best explanation but, y'know...
So, I like to have:
Move Speed Quints
Armor Seals
Scaling AP Glyphs, and
Magic Pen Marks

This is my recommended mastery page for when I play Katarina, it was mostly AP but a little AD for her W.

Now I'll explain how to get the best out of Katarina in a team fight, using team work! c:

Katarina relies quite a bit on her team, shes really a glass cannon. She works best if your team has a lot of CC, but if not, she's still OP.

In the image above, you'll see that my score isnt really that good, because I was going up against a Fizz, and their jungler was camping. at about 15 mins in I was 1/6/0 Not really good.. BUT with a little team work, we came back and won!

I don't really recommend playing her in ranked, because she's easily shut down. But if you're going against the right champ, why not! Go for it, her squish will make her an easy target, she doesn't really have a lot of early damage, and her early cool downs SUCK. But, she easily comes back late game with a little Team Work.

Like I said, I really don't recommend playing her in ranked. But there's some people that do 100% fine with her. So test your skills with Kat, if you're feeling up to it.
