Hi all katarina players out there, this is my first build i'm making about katarina. Just check it out lol. Double penta movie at the bottom of the page.

It gives a nice extra AP at the start of the game but it can be changed for CDR if you like.


I think this is a must have for almost any AP champions.


Take this when the enemy team has a mid champion with alot of burst, so you can survive that burst.


Gives some nice AP at the start of the game.

Greater Seal of Vitality
This will give you some survive at early game which is kinda needed because katarina is very squichy.

The masteries are very standard, the 9 points in the defence tree also helps you to survive burst and dmg etc. The 21 points in the offence tree are giving you more dmg enough said.

3X
Is a good start on almost every champion these days. It will give you the movement that is needed to dodge skillshots. The 3 potions will give you some lane substain.


This is mostly my first item unless I get bursted down to easily or when I lose to much hp because of the other champ then i buy a first to survive better and then hextech ofcourse for better lane substain.


Then i go boots for more mobility and magic penetration.


Is also an option if the enemy has stuns and quite amount of dmg. Use against champs like veigar, sion.


IMO this item is a must for katarina, at early game it excels, your ulti will slow the enemy

Upgrade the hextech for this item, don't forget to activate it.

Then


If the enemy is stacking MR then this item is a must have.


If the enemy is killing you to fast and mostly with AD then you should get this item asap.

OPTIONAL


Against teams with alot of AP champs.


Against teams with alot of hp.

IF you feel its going to be a long and hard game to get kills, you should be getting this item early. But mostly it won't be this hard imo.


Removes ANY debuff, even vlad his ulti so it can also be very usefull.

Why exhaust? Because its synergy with death lotus is great, you should be keeping you exhaust and ignite ready for when you death lotus, the enemy champion wont be able to escape easy with exhaust on.


Just a great summoner. :p


Is also a good choice but i don't feel like i need it most of the times because you always need to figure out a escape route with katarina before you jump in.


Can also be an option.

Always stay on the back of the Team. Watch very good if the enemys used their cc. You need to jump in and use ulti when enemys can't stop you with cc. Try to figure out an escape route before you jump into the team fight. Due the passive you will be able to escape very easy or jump onto the next enemy.

Untill lvl 6 you should be laning very safe but at lvl 6 you should instantly kill the enemy mostly. Use killer instincts => shunpo => death lotus and use exhaust while death lotus but use it very fast so the enemy has less change to get away and also use ignite for a certain kill. 90% change of getting a kill with this combo 1v1 at lvl 6. But also watch for enemy flash, if they have used it alrdy you will get the kill if they don't try to force it first and then use the combo. or ask your jungler to gank to force flash. This build will probably be more detailled and updated soon..

Notice how i wait untill the enemy forced all of their cc mostly on nocturne. Blitzcrank is rly hard for katarina because he can interupt you so easy. Also WW, taunt of shen. In a game you should wait untill all the cc is gone else you will be ****.
