Katarina Build Guide by HeAt

Yeah but guise is alot worse in the end then a different item, unless you can stack those rockets, 10% spell vamp is almost nothing. considering its 5% for aoe spells you really dont get that much if you cant stack it.

HeAt, I've been enjoying this build, and wondering if you can suggest another champion that would work best with the identical rune/mastery build. I'd like to have a backup in case someone else picks Katarina before me.

First of all great build!! I love how shunpo deals tons of damage.
Now, since this is an AP build wouldn't it be better if you buy sorcerer's shoes instead of mercury's? I think it helps..

i usually do but kat is very vulnerable to CC's, check the team you are against and make the best decision.

Lol best build ever, FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE playing Katarina and i had 22/5/10 ;o

Really easy to use build. I'm only level 14, so I can't stack quite so much AP at the start of a game with runes. That slows the game down a bit for me since my opponents have to be really reckless/bad for me to get a kill off at level 2-3.

However, once you hit 6, there's just no stopping you. My first game with her the enemy team had 3 high HP builds. Even still, I was doing just fine. Then I played a game where there was just 1 tank and 4 squishy classes. I went 7-0 before the 12 minute mark and then everyone just ragequit.


I had no idea this hero could be this powerful. This only reinforces my claim that the characters who don't use mana, especially the ninjas, are overpowered.

Srsly getting annoyed by that champ lately :P

Yesterday we faced Kat with
Guise Mask + Ring + 3x Rylai's... and something else cant remember (lichbane probably or void staff but cant remember ffs)

She was nearly impossible to kill... 3200HP with 35% decreased damage... i prefered when she was fragile, now its just EZ mode... no mana no problems and dodge could be avoided by putting a heavy caster on her to nuke her down. Now she spits even on mages. I didnt stand a chance to pick a gold card and stun her before i was dead :/
We won but her team had 42 kills when 36 of them were performed by her... o_O...

Yeah... she got alot easier.. >.< alot.. im pissed. Kat used to take skill, well not anymore. that build your dude was using sucked but yeah, with 35% reduction i find 2500 hp MORE than enough :). It's nearly impossible to kill me when i play now.. especially with zhonyas..

She seriously is bs now...i bought her just because i was fed up with her ****. My last game played, their mundo was being a whiner so, i abused the hell out of him. by the end of the game, i had about 4k hp and was doing 400 damage (yah its straight up bs.) at times i seriously had their entire team hacking away at me, but with banshee's veil, 4k hp, and 35% reduced damage...it was nothing. They even had cho, mundo, and garen, none of which survived my onslaughts. i used a build similar to your other one. I am tempted to try ap, but im getting fantastic results with my current one. I would post mine, but most builds i make, i just get negative marks and no comments. I still cannot get over it though...my boomerang was at about 700 damage and my ulti was just death on blades. Just wondering, do you think she is OP, because i certainly do, and most people defend their champions and say nah they aint op even if they are.
