Introduction

Hi everyone! This is my first attempt at making a guide, and it is just going to be a barebones guide outlining the way I play Kayle. This build has not been tested in ranked, but it is useful for levels 1-30 in regular matches.

Runes

For Kayle her main strength in attacking is making use of both Holy Fervor and Righteous Fury. The best way to take advantage of this is through pure attack speed, which is why I have chosen to focus marks and quints on attack speed. The seals for flat mp5 are extremely useful for early game, allowing you to both farm with Righteous Fury and harass with Reckoning. For the glyphs I chose to use cooldown reduction for two reasons, it will allow you to have 100% uptime on Righteous Fury, as well as being able to use Intervention at will.

Masteries

This build is full damage, and Kayle makes use of both AP and AD masteries to their full extent. Taking pretty much every useful mastery from the Offensive tree will maximize your early game harassment and help solidify your late game.

Items

The item synergy for Kayle is focused on increasing attack speed, lowering cooldowns, and making use of the attack speed she will have. Doran's ring for a starting item will help keep your mana up early game so you can control your lane aggressively. For boots, we don't need Ionian boots because we will be getting enough cooldown reduction for 100% Righteous Fury uptime through the Nashor's Tooth and Brutalizer (later Youmuu's Ghostblade). Once you have those items, switch to getting Guinsoo's Rageblade for the additional attack speed, AP, and AD. Then finish out the Ghostblade for it's incredible active ability. For the next item the Madred's Bloodrazer fits in perfectly with this build. The extra attack speed always helps, and the on hit shreds tanks with our already ridiculous attack speed. For the final item, if you are completely dominating the enemy team you can get a Phantom Dancer for the attack speed, move speed, and crit chance. If you are taking too much damage you can replace the Phantom Dancer with any defensive item (Banshee's Veil for AP heavy teams, Thornmail for AD heavy teams, and Guardian Angel for a mix).

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence I use is pretty straightforward, max out Righteous Fury as quickly as possible, with Reckoning right behind it. This will allow you to abuse the enemy team and get a higher creep score. I don't get Divine Blessing before level 10 because it is extremely mana inefficient for the benefit at low levels. Once you start needing the ability to chase enemies down you only need one rank.

Summoner Spells

For summoner spells, the most required spell is Surge. I can't stress enough how important this spell is for Kayle. At low levels, Surge with Righteous Fury completely decimates anyone unlucky enough to be caught by surprise. Surge continues to be useful all the way through the game as attack speed is always good to have.

For the other summoner spell its a toss up between Flash and Ghost. Being able to close the gap between enemies to land a Reckoning and keep them slowed is important, but being able to be at the right place at the right time to save your team with Intervention is completely invaluable.
