Regardless of build, kennen will STILL be able to stun lock a top dps and use his combo/ult to stun the whole team. The difference is that with a straight AP build he will be MORE effective as he will do boat tons of damage too. Kennen has no shielding/healing abilities and really isn't a tank. Sorry.

This seems like alot of fun. I never thought to try and build Just AD or JUST ap. I always go hybrid, but i will be trying this out!
I like to always build rageblade with hybrid champions but then choose either AD or AP to buy more items in. The current meta seems to support Kayle with Madred's quite nicely though.
