Chapter 1

This is the first build im making and I saw it would be fitting since I generally disagree with most of the builds i already saw posted about Kayle. This build, as you would figure in the title is a build to do good damage as kayle, an underrated and under estimated character with potential.

Kayle's Abilities =

Holy Fervor - 30% of Kayle's attack damage is added to her ability power and 15% of Kayle's ability power is added to her attack damage.

Reckoning - Blasts a target, dealing 60/110/160/210/260(+80% of ability power) magic damage and slowing its movement speed by 25% for 4 seconds

Divine Blessing - Blesses an allied champion, healing them for 65/100/135/170/205(+50%of ability power) health and increasing their movement speed by 12% for 10 seconds.

Righteous Fury - Kayle's attacs strike at range. These attacks splash, dealing an additional magic damage to her target and nearby units take 20/25/30/35.5/40% of her attack damage plus magic damage.

Intervention - Bathes Kayle's target in a holy light, rendering them immune to all damage for 2/2.5/3 seconds (not exactly the best ultimate but can save you from eager champions)

Note: the move order i have put down is only a suggestion and will/should vary depending on the circumstances.

Kayle is really weak in the beginning but can become much stronger as the game goes on. To start off the only thing kayle is really good for is using his Reckoning to fend off other champions. Mana early on is also a pain to deal with as you will find it a problem early on. In this build getting manamune earlier helps kayle to be able to more constantly use his abilities. Remember to use Divine blessing when running away from or chasing champions because it increases your speed. The last item, Starks fervor is optional and can be replaced with something that would make Kayle a harder hitter like Infinity's Edge or Zhonya's Ring, remember this build is only a suggestion and a personal preference. The biggest thing you must notice when taking this build/guide into consideration is Kayle's characteristic, Holy Fervor that converts a percentage of Kayle's attack power into ability power and vice versa, so you REALLY get the most out of those attributes.

The Summoner spells are just suggestions, teleport is obviously more useful through out the game but if you prefer not to have that spell Clarity can be very useful early in the game but after obtaining manamune becomes a lot less useful.

Item Build:
to Start with you can either get the mana gem or meki pendant first, but obviously meki pendant will be better off to lasting longer. Also, and purchasing 2 hp pots, if play very safely you can also buy 1 hp pot and 1 mana pot instead of 2 hp pots since Kayle's mana is weak **** early in.

Movement - the order you get boots of speed > Mercury's treads should vary depending on what the situation is. If you do not see an early use of boots get manamune because that is what really gets this character to last long on the field without worrying about mana.

Guinsoo's Rageblade - This item really gets the stone rolling for Kayle as it adds on a good ammount of ability power and attack power. Guinsoo's Rageblade's passive gives increased attack speed and ability power(stacks up to 8 times) and lasts 5 seconds. Whether you buy the blasting wand or the Pick Axe first is generally up to personal preferance, even though I would suggest blasting wand first.

Hextech Gunblade - This amazing item compliments hybrid champions and the item Guinsoo's Rageblade. It gives not only physical damage lifesteal but spell vamp, and a good ability power and attack damage boost. Hextech Gunblade also has a unique active: Deals 300 magic damage and slows the target champion 50% for 3 seconds (700 range). 60 second cooldown.

Phage - Gives an attack damage and health boost and a 25% chance on hit to reduce your target's movement speed by 30% for 2.5 seconds. Phage + Righteous fury always makes a great combo to slow enemies from a distance whether its to run away or chase them down.

Triforce - This item is great for hybrids, especially Kayle, it gives attack speed, critical strike, damage, hp, mana, ability power, movement speed and keeps the effect of phage.

Starks Fervor - 20 Attack Speed. Unique aura: Gives nearby allied champions 20% lifesteal, 20% attack speed, and 30 health per 5 seconds regenerated. Reduces the armor of nearby enemy champions by 20. This item is basically the icing on the cake, but not exactly nessecary. While this item is suggested, like I mentioned early this can also be replaced with a Zhonya's Ring, Infinity's Edge, Nashors touth, or even another Hextech Gunblade.

Don't forget how well the massive attack boost Infinity's edge can give to Kayle to attribute to his Righteous fury, which will also contribute to ability power.
The same goes Zhonya's Ring, generally if you make much more use of Reckoning and Divine Blessing, since it is such a massive ability boost.

I hope anyone who views this page enjoys this build I made for Kayle and that it works as well for you guys as it did for me.
