Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Kayle got a bad wrap awhile back. A worthless champion with little to no survivability, a lame *** heal, a lame ultimate, no real damage out put. THEN the light came, she recieved a buff, and epic buff which now makes her an even more viable and fun to play champion. I've seen a lot of bad Kayle's out there who late game are simply unable to do much more then place their ultimate on a weakened champion. With this build I hope to let you all find her to be a fun champion with great durability and damage.
Summoner spells, Flash and Clarity. Flash to help close or gain distance to or from enemies. Clarity to help you during the laning phase. Ghost is viable over Flash other than that not much else I would change. Maybe teleport rather than flash if you like to help push lanes or assist team mates.
Straight Forward masteries. Yes Kayle is a melee DPS even though she uses mainly AP for her abilities. Ive gone with a simple 21/0/9 build for her buffing her spell pen ignoring armor pen up front. Placing points in utility to give her sustainability in a lane.
Runes standard Caster set up with Spell Pen marks and AP per level Seals, Glyphs, and Quints. You won't pack too much of a punch level 1 but hey you're there to primarily farm early game and support your lane. By about level 4 or 5 your AP per level stuff will be worth more then if you went flat AP.
Skill Sequence is simple enough. Buff your best 2 spells first and grab a point in heal at 5 so you provide a small bit of utility. Late game your heal will be a bit better and actually worth using.
Item build is meant to give you a solid base to start from. Rod of Ages to sustain yourself in a lane and provide some early game durability. Straight into Nashors to boost the attack speed so your Righteous Fury can hit faster. Rageblade to keep your AD and AP as well as AS ramped up to help kill towers or enemies. Rylais next for some added AP, HP, and a slow (yes you already have one but how about keeping your target slowed at range because of Righteous Fury as well as anyone around them?)End with a Hextech for some Spell Vamp, Life Steal, AD, AP and a nice Active to slow targets.
This is a simple straight forward guide hope it works for you people that read it. Leave comments or questions and this build might be revamped to look nicer and give more info.
