Introduction
I build his as AP ranged carry.
I had some pretty good scores on him using this same build.
So sit back watch and learn.
Runes
Flat health seals,
and flat Ability Power Glyphs and Quintessences.
Those runes will help me survive early MID game and not to feed and suck.
Masteries
He uses energy.
I take much AP as i can get from both masteries trees,while i also in offense take magic penatration while in defense something i really need:Immunity to minions.Did you ever killed a guy then minions killed you?Or did anybody gotten lucky and escaped with 10hp from fight?
Minion damage imunity you need.Be like dude that survaived.Be immune!:D.I also take health which Kennen desperatly needs and damage reduction aswell.

Ryalis Crystal Scepter
Mejais Soulstealer
Rabadon Deatchao is build i usually use.
But there are also some solid items that make good choise:
Moonflair Spellblade-
25 Tenacy,50 AP
Good againist high disable enemiess
Sunfire Cape:Kennen needs to stand near his enemies anyway using his Lighning Rush and ulltimate,Sunfire Cape gives you survability and as it seems bonus damage.
Hauntiong Guise:
Always take over Voids staff
Survability magic penatration and ap.
Abystall Scepter:
Vs high ap characters that can ace you(LeBlanc)(Lux))(Cassiopeia)
Summoner Spells
Flash
Teleport
Heal
Ignite
Balanced use:
Ghost-you have lighting rush though
Revive-If they are focusing you
Useless:
Smite
Rally
