Kennen is an ability power champion that focuses on poke and team fights. He is very good on evading ganks by using lightning rush, once activated kennen's movement speed is greatly increased. Good kennen players need lots of farm early game so I tend to stay in lane until 60 farm or until i get pushed out of lane, shoot for 80 farm at ten minutes and you will have good early game items. If you are being denied farm by the other mid lane you can poke them with thundering shuriken and then into and electrical surge if you are in range, you can also farm minions with thundering shuriken. Don't be scared to spam your Q because Kennen runs on energy and not mana.

Kennen is a very strong AP carry he excels in team fights and secures kills for his team. What you can do is lightning rush into a team and then use Slicing maelstrom (his ultimate) then use your zhonyas hourglass so you cant get focused while you ult and let your team clean everyone up and get kills for yourself also. To get kills you must poke people down with your Q until they have a stack of your passive, then lightning rush to them and add another stack, after use electrical surge to stun them and then kill them with your ult or your other skills.

-Very strong in team fights
-Easily farms passivly with his Q
-Very strong ganks if using his ult or comboing his skills for a stun
-Countered by junglers with a stun when they gank
Counters: Ryze, Gragas, and swain
People he Counters: Brand (if you can dodge some of his skills), and Ahri.
