Ok this is my first guide on mobafire. I have been playing League of awhile now and I've played a lot of champions, Kennen is by far my favorite and my best champ. I just want everyone to know this is my opinion of the best way to play Kennen so no offensive comments there are probably better builds out there, but this is the one I prefer. Now please give feed back and tell me how it works for you guys.

I choose the runes I do because I feel they work the best not only early but late game as well. A lot of people prefer to get AP quintessences but I think you already get enough AP late game and magic pen will turn out better.

I think these are the best masteries for Kennen. They provide him with early game damage and sustain through the 21 offense 9 defense.

If you're going mid, you should almost always start boots and potions. Especially if you don't run off of mana. This will make you safe from ganks and the potions will give you the sustain to stay in lane for awhile. Then I think you should go for a hextech revolver because it gives you spell vamp which will also keep you in lane. After you get the revolver you could go for Sorcerer's shoes but I think it's better to go for a Zhonya's Hourglass, because it works great with Kennen's ult. Then you want to get the Sorcerer's for the magic pen and move speed. After that you go for a Rabadon's because it will really boost your AP. Then you finish the revolver with a will of the ancients, and follow it up by Rylai's and Abyssal Scepter for extra AP and a bit of AP and it'll allow you to take some hits.

This one seems pretty obvious, you start Q and max it first it does most damage. On the second one some people like to get their E second but I prefer to get the W. It doesn't make that big of a difference but it does change it a little. Then no matter what max W second, and E last.

The flash is for escaping, also late game you can flash ult then Zhonya in the middle of their team. The ignite is just to help pick up kills, and it can also counter out ults like Mundo's.

Kennen is a really strong character and is banned often in ranked. Maybe not every game like Morgana or Kassadin, but he does get banned quite often. He can go top or mid and be very strong in either one, a lot of people don't know his potential in top lane.

Kennen needs a lot of farm, but can get it pretty easily. With the E W sequence he can take out a whole wave of minions in seconds. Also he runs off of energy which comes back much faster than mana so he can spam those two abilities to get a lot of farm.

Kennen is one of the best AP champions in the game. He can go top and mid and be very strong at either one. He can farm easily which is good because he needs a lot of it. He is pretty hard to gank, especially if you start boots because he's already pretty fast and his E makes him even faster. I love Kennen and I think he is one of the strongest characters in the game. Especially with his Zhonya ult. Buy Kennen, you would be disappointed.
