I take the Expanded Mind in the utility tree because it gives Kennen 10 More max Energy. This means if you use Lightning Rush and then Electrical Surge you won't have to wait for energy to use Shiruken because you will have been able to pool a lot more. So this 10 energy directly correlates into burst

I'm not an avid Kennen player, but I agree with Karkat.

CDR does not help burst. Burst damage is how quickly you can do damage in an instant. CDR will only help damage over time. Regardless of how fast your CDR is, your energy regeneration is static. You can use abilities faster, but you will also run out of energy faster. In my opinion, CDR is better on champions with a large mana pool.

And why would you take the Expanded Mind in utility tree?

If you could point out the talents int he defense tree that you think are so good for defense I would really appreciate that. And to try to say CDR is bad you must be kidding me right? Is that a joke or what lol?
I think that you will find that with all these new masteries all good Kennens will be using utility. For you to say farther into the offense tree for more burst im not sure what you would want to be giving up the summoner spell cooldown reduction and 6% CDR? 6% CDR is a ton of burst right there. The defensive tree also doesnt have very many good talents in there for actually helping Kennen out a lot besides the armor and the magic resist. Also how does more CDR = less energy regen? If you could explain that insane thought process to me that would be awsome.

All in all I wish you wouldn't have downgraded before you even tried the guide out in the game because this actually is what is best right now not going deep into the defensive tree and im sure soon you will be using it or something like it.

I really think the masteries are a poor choice. You could be getting more burst by going further down the Offense tree, then more survivability by going down the Defense tree. Utility isn't that great, and too much CDR on Kennen means less energy regen which leads to disaster.

not bad. I've always been a fan of a fast WotA on Kennen, which most people don't go for it seems. add some pictures to make it easier on the eyes and it'll be good. Also, an alternative for runes could be scaling energy regen yellows for easier harassment in lane without leaving yourself open and not able to rush away, and going flat HP quints to compensate for the lack of armor.

+1 though
