The True Flippin' Ninja
This guide should give you the proper knowledge prior to game time to enhance your Kennen game play.
This build focuses on stuns and damage distribution. I can guarantee that with this build you can help your team by stunning and distributing damage faster than most others.
-Has AoE stun ability
-Really fun to play because you are using skills constantly
-Great champ killer
-A flippin' ninja!
-Has the skills to initiate but is next to impossible
With Kennen the spells are really w/e you feel the most comfortable with as he has an escape method and may or may not need a second one. I WOULD however recommend a second escape method (I prefer Flash.) You also need to remember everyone else has their spells so you should use your second spell to give you the edge on your foes (I prefer Exhaust or Ignite [with Ignite you can redistribute the mastery point to ignite or As])
Exhaust - This spell is such a huge piece early game with both a blind and slow this gives you great gank opportunities early game.
Flash - This spell is just awesome. You can almost get away from anyone with lightning rush and flash when used right.
Ignite - If mastery point is used you get a nice AP boost early and can often help seal the deal in a close fight.
Ghost - Great for escaping, great for getting back to your lane, great for chasing, take this if you are more fixated at getting kills.

You MUST realize kennen's stun ability! Marks are the key to kennen. 3 marks = stun...
You should keep track of the stuns and also you get 1 mark from the 5th regular attack so it is helpful to notice when you will be adding another mark.
Go ahead and rush your boots as with kennen you can operate just fine w/o any extra boost, you can even grab first blood with Exhaust. Now start with boots and 2 HP pots and try to get mid seeing how kennen can harass with q. Once you hit 2 try your best to hit q on your enemy champ and w right after then stun with a regular attack. I would hold on getting items until you can afford rage blade. This item may be one of the most important for kennen so rushing it is a good idea.
At this point you should have some items and fighting will not be a problem. Just stick to your lane and play off the other team's stupidity. Farm your lane up and watch for the mia and if your lane is open help out your team with a gank or even push the tower.
You need to be careful because your damage output will scare the other team and you will more than likely be target number one. Aside from that play the game and remember the player behind the champ is most important. Play well my friends and remember to use protection.
