This is my second guide here on Mobafire. 1st was for Fiora Fiora - Tanky/AD/Jungle - All you need to know.
Second guide will be for the newest champion in our favourite online PvP game. Kha'Zix.
Kha'Zix is ***asian, which is very good for jungle or solo top. Kha'Zix can also be stealth and is able to upgrade it's abilities each time he lvls up his ulti.

Kha'Zix: Spotlight and Lore

A vicious Void predator, Kha'Zix infiltrated Valoran to devour the land's most promising creatures. With each kill he absorbs his prey's strength, evolving to grow more powerful. Kha'Zix hungers most to conquer and consume Rengar, the one beast he considers his equal.
When Kha'Zix crossed over into this world, he was fragile and ravenous. The animals he first encountered were too small to fuel the rapid evolution he craved. Kha'Zix focused his hunger on the most dangerous creatures he could find, risking his life to satisfy his need. With each kill he feasted and changed, becoming a stronger, faster predator. Kha'Zix soon chased his prey with unrestrained aggression, believing he was unstoppable. One day, while savoring a fresh kill, the predator became the prey. From cover a creature pounced in a blur of fangs and steel, tackling him to the ground. It roared in his face slashing and clawing, and Kha'Zix felt his blood spill for the first time. Screeching in fury, he sliced at the brute's eye driving it back. They fought from sunset to sunrise. Finally, near death, they reluctantly separated. As his wounds closed, Kha'Zix burned with anticipation at the idea of devouring one who could match the Void's strength. He resumed his search for powerful prey with renewed vigor. Someday, Kha'Zix will feast on Rengar.

- Unseen Treat Unseen Treat: Everytime you are unseen to your enemys (if you are in the bush or in jungle, your next basic attack will deal additional damage and will slow enemy units for 35% for 2 seconds.
- Taste their fear (Q):
PASSIVE: Mark isolated targets
ACTIVE: Deals up to 190 physical damage to a single target. Damage against isolating targets is increased for up to 200 + (2,4 per bonus attack damage)
EVOLVED: Increases damage to isolated targets by 12% of their missing health. Kha'Zix also gains 50 increased range for Q and his basic attacks.
- Void spike (W): Kha'Zix fires spikes that explode on contact dealing up to 235 (+0,9) physical damage to all nearby enemys. Kha'Zix is healed for up to 160 (+50% of his AP) if he is within the explosion radius
EVOLVED: Kha'Zix can fires 3 projectiles in a cone. Spikes will also apply Unseen Treat to all enemies caught within the area of the effect.
- Leap (E): Kha'Zix leaps to an area, dealing up to 205 (+0,8 bonus) physical damage to enemies in the area he lands.
EVOLVED: Increased Leap's range dramatically and causes a kill or assist to refresh the CD of Leap
- Void Assault (R):
PASSIVE: Each rank of Void Assaults allows Kha'Zix to evolve 1 of his abilities, granting it in additional effect.
ACTIVE: Kha'Zix enters stealth for 1 second and gains Unseen Treat, gaining 40% movement speed. Kha'Zix can cast Void Assault again within 10seconds after going on cooldown.
EVOLVED: Can cast Void Assault 3 times within 10 seconds and reduces any damage by 40% he takes while in stealth
You must maxand evolve your Q 1st. It's the most importan source of damage that Kha'Zix has
Next to maxand to evolve is E. I like to have E evolved second, cause it's really easy to escape than. You can also jump into teamfight and out of teamfight very easy and quickly. You can also not be focused if you evolve your E, cause you can escape too easy.
3rd to evolveand max is your W. If you fire 3 spikes, you get healed more, and you do more dmg. But I still evolve it at last.
I don't evolve my ultimate, cause it's easy to escape if you have 2x1sec to be stealth also.
You can also use other ability sequence and evolve your ultimat 1st but i think this is the best option.
|Flash: Flash is in my opinion the best summoner spell in the game. It can be used for escaping over the wall and taking target in range for your E. So definetely one of the best choices for Kha'Zix also.||space
||Ignite: One of best choices also, can be used for finishing enemy champion with low HP instead of diving into the turret. Good choice also.||space
||Exhaust: You can also use this spell to slow enemy target when you want to kill him. It can be also used for slowing your hunters when they chase you. Good choice, but I still think, you better take other, that are more usefull.|
You can also use Heal or Ghost for more surviability, but you can heal enough with your W and escape easily with your ulti and E.
Other spells aren't usefull for Kha'Zix, such as Clarity, Promote, and others. Waste of summoner spells, if you ask me.
Kha'Zix is AD Jungler, so it's obvious, we need AD masteries. I suggest you 21 9 0.
Brute Force , Deadliness and Executioner gives you most importan AD stuff.
Than you need Butcher for additional damage against monster, which helps you a lot in first jungler round.
Alacrity , Weapon Expertise , Lethality , Vampirism and Sunder will give you additional life steal, crit chance, armor penetration and attack speed.
As jungler, you need Hardiness for armor, Resistance for MagicResist, Durability for healt per lvl and Veteran's Scars for additional health.
That's only my suggestion, you can also change some, if you think you can make better masteries.
- greater quintessence of desolation: As ad jungler, you need armor penetration, so it's obvious choice of "Big" runes :)
- Greater Mark of Scaling Attack Damage: Same thing as quintessence: ArmorPenetration (btw: reduces targetet armor)
- Greater Glyph of Armor: As jungler you also need armor, for reducing damage from minions and off course other AD champions in game.
- Greater Seal of Scaling Magic Resist: Also totally logical choice. You need magic penetration for reducing magic damage, especially if you counter shen/amumu/poppy or other AP solo top champs.
Jungle items are quiet the same as solo top, but with different start. You open the game with Cloth Armor and 5 health potions.
At first recall you buy Boots of Speed or whole Ninja Tabi, otherwise you start building Wriggle's Lantern. You ward Dragon with Wriggle's Lantern.
You only buy Wriggle's instead of Brutalizer and Cloth Armor instead of boots of speed for 1st item, the rest is quite the same.
From now on you build: Frozen Mallet for mor HP and surviability, Bloodthirstier for life steal and more damage, Youmuu's Ghostblade for DMG, CDreduction and Crit, you sell Wriggle's Lantern, you buy Maw of Malmortius and as last item, you buy Guardian Angel for more armor and magic resist. And off course passive.
When you have all items, you aresimply legendary. Np :)
Jungling Route and Ganking
Following Jungle Route is quite the same for all Mana resource champions. Also for Kha'Zix. You can also start with wolves, and than go blue, but I do this type off jungle route, and i suggest it to you to.
Ask for pull and cover, so you won't get invaded.
Smite Blue to end him up.
Kha'Zix is very good at ganking, when he has his ultimate. Before he get it, it's harder, but also quite simple. You put your Q on as 1st ability, than your E, and than W.
You can gank when enemies push lanes. It's easy to gank if there are no wards.
Leap to an enemy unit, use your Q, W and spamm basic attack, but be sure your teammates will help you finish it. Don't take a risk till you get your ulti for diving under tower.
You will have enough time for taking kills later.
Ofc, when you evolve your Q you will be more effective, and if enemy run away, you catch him with your ultimate.

Here is image how and where to ward with your Wriggle's Lantern. Ofc you must ward Dragon 1st, before you sell it and buy Maw of Malmortius, ward Baron .
Solo Top: Masteries
Masteries are quite the same as Jungle, but you don't need Butcher, so you use:
Brute Force , Deadliness and Executioner that gives you most important AD stuff,
and others: Alacrity , Weapon Expertise , Lethality , Vampirism and Sunder will give you additional life steal, crit chance, armor penetration and attack speed.
Defensive masteries are almost the same.
Solo Top: Runes
Greater Quintessence of Lethality
Greater Mark of Lethality
Greater Seal of Armor
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
Runes are exactly the same as Jungle runes, so I won't explain again.
