Kha'Zix Passive Ability
Introduction
First off, this is a work in progress. Any comments to help shape this into a more effective guide would be helpful.
From what i've seen of Kha'Zix, he excels greatly as a solo top over being a jungle. While he is effective at both I prefer him in the top lane. You've probably already noticed that Kha'Zix relies quite heavily on basic attack and melee speed. So that's what this build goes for.
I personally recommend:
Flash and Ignite.
I recommend Flash because even though Kha'Zix has leap, it has an insane cooldown, and just isn't useful for escaping in the long term.
I pick Ignite for final damage on enemies since its possible to do large amounts of damage but then have all your abilities on cooldown. Its nice to have a finisher.
Other useful summoner spells could include:
Exhaust or Ghost.
Exhaust would replace Ignite, and Ghost Flash.

For runes i've gone with:
9 Greater Marks of Strength.
9 Greater Seals of Resilience.
9 Greater Glyphs of Alacrity.
The Glyphs are a mater of debate I will admit. On one hand you might be better off taking Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist or other Magic resist glyphs, but I take attack speed to help further Kha'Zix's DPS.

Boots, 2 Health Potion, 1 Mana Potion opening. Kha'Zix is a mana sucker, so be careful when spamming his abilities
Grab 2 Doran's Blades, for easy AD power.
Ninja Tabi - Kha'Zix is a little squishy, this really helps with the damage.
The Brutalizer - This is a stop-gap item, needed for early game umph..
- Bring on the early game umph! Leaping into a fight with this item just rocks so much face. It will also be turned into a Trinity Force at a later point.
Trinity Force - Turning that sheen into something really useful. All aspects of this item benefit Kha'Zix in some way.
Bloodthirster - That Umph damage item that all good AD carry builds need.
Phage - You know where we're going with this. Since Kha'Zix is based off Melee attacks, Frozen Mallet Incoming!
Frozen Mallet - AD, HP, and it keeps them from getting away. (This item is also the reason I don't evolve Void Spike.
Madred's Bloodrazor - As I mentioned earlier, Kha'Zix's damage comes mainly from his auto attacks. This gives him not only AD but Attack Speed as well. And lets not forget the armor and bonus Percentile damage.
Force of Nature - This is really just a personal choice. I get it for the magic resist and movement speed increase. This way you'll be able to chase down any but the fastest champions. Health re-gen is nice too. But feel free to replace this with any defensive item you see fit.
Start with Taste Their Fear first, this will give you a large melee range to work with, as well as an increase on your primary burst DPS.
Follow with either Leap Or Void Assault. Pick whichever one you didn't take second as your third choice.
I choose these three because with the current build of items you don't need to evolve Void Spike. The added slow bonus is given to you by your Frozen Mallet, so while the three prong strike might be nice, its really not needed.
Evolving your leap also allows a much easier time of getting in and out of fights, or jumping walls. With an un-evolved leap, its very easy to screw up leaps over ledges.
