Introduction + Basic info

Hello my name is NS LaboresSolis and this is my first guide (please be gentle with me). Even though Kindred is traditionally played as a Jungler a proper build makes her one of the strongest adc in the game with a great all in potential!

Since a few weeks back I've been playing Kindred as adc, most often with a Janna as support and I've got about 90% win rate with +7 KDA/game. This build might not be the ultimate one but is sure works in platinum elo!

If you see anything that need's to be improved or disagree with me in any way please do post a comment or send me a PM. I'm all about learning!

However this is how I play Kindred The eternal Hunters.

Basic Information about Kindred

Unique Skills

What does it do?
Both Lamb and Wolf mark targets to hunt.Scoring a takedown on a marked target permanently empowers Lamb's basic attacks to deal 1.25% of her target's current health as bonus on-hit physical damage!

Passive Targets (Jungle camps)
Wolf periodically selects a random monster camp within the enemy's jungle and highlights the camp to both teams, starting at 2:30. After 6 stacks of Mark of the Kindred Wolf instead starts to target Baron .
The mark is removed upon the monster camp's death even if Kindred are not involved.

Targeting Champions
Lamb is offered to select a champions to take down. Once selected, there's an 8 second delay before the mark can be collected and Lamb can change her target after 90 seconds, if the target hasn't died in that time. Targets successfully hunted cannot be targeted again for 4 minutes.

Marking the right target
As said before "Lamb can change her target after 90" if the mark hasn't been collected earlier. As you will be playing at botlane you want to focus to kill the Adc/Support.

I always start by marking the enemy Ad Carry as soon as the game starts, then I'll have the time to change target when we arrive at botlane if necessary

Runes/Masteries

So lets go over the runes and Masteries I've chosen for this guide.

Runes

Greater Mark of Attack Speed, Greater Glyph of Attack Speed & Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed all give you that attack speed that we are longing to get! a total of 35% bonus attack speed together with masteries and items will give us about 2.3 attacks/s at full build
Greater Seal of Armor Well you're going to be up against a Adc of course you want some extra armor :)

Many of you will probably get the feeling that these runes are weird.. But I can assure you that they are working wonders!

Masteries

18 points in Ferocity is needed to get Fervor of Battle as your Keystone. Warlord's Bloodlust is tempting but the extra damage from Fervor of Battle towards enemy champions will help you get kills instead of just keeping you alive for 1-2 seconds longer.

The other 12 points can be spent on either, as I do, cunning resolving in getting Health + Mana back for each kill or resolve giving you extra sustain with Runic Armor

Farming

With my guide farming will be more difficult than most guides, This because we're playing with
Attack Speed instead of Attack Damage. After Practicing for a while you'll get the hang of farming with no extra Attack Damage early.

Items

This list will be updated from time to time!

I've read plenty of other guides these are the reason to pick my items with Kindred

Blade of the Ruined King
  • Stacks great with your passive, does % of enemy hp per basic attack
  • Gives you sustain, works great with your W sustain as well

Berserker's Greaves
  • Gives you movement and attack speed, what more can you ask for?

Trinity Force
  • With good usage of your Sheen and your Dance of Arrows + Wolf's Frenzy you'll be able to out damage anyone
  • AttackSpeed + Cool down reduction is the perfect stats for Kindred
  • The Phage gives you movement speed while attacking enemies, great for kiting, chasing and running

Phantom Dancer
  • Amazing dueling potential with the 12% reduced damage taken from the last target you attacked
  • Again Attack Speed is beneficial in my build
  • Moving faster near enemy champions and the ability to move trough units!!

Skill Sequence

One important thing to understand is that your Wolf's Frenzy reduces your Dance of Arrows to 2 seconds!.

At level 2 you should have your Dance of Arrows and Wolf's Frenzy, this is really important because if you want to go in you simply use Q -> AA -> W -> AA and lastly Q + AA for the kill!

This Skill Sequence combined with a Janna's Eye of the Storm or a Braum in general will almost always guarantee a kill. Before engaging ALWAYS make sure to have a target marked with Mark of the Kindred.
