In the Plague Jungles, Kong ruled as king. He could wield a unique, natural form of magic and he was driven by zealous ambition. The Plague Jungles were the ideal setting for fostering his growth - he thrived on challenges and flourished in adversity. However, when he had surmounted every obstacle and defeated every opponent, he grew restless. Worried that there was nothing left to overcome, he sought counsel with the monkey sage who lived behind the Grand Waterfall. The sage told him a tale of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and strength, bent the world to their will. Kong was overjoyed at the prospect of such worthy competition, and he immediately set out to the north, hoping that the sage's story was true.
Traveling north, he crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. Unaware of the League, he arrived outside the Institute of War where he found Master Yi in meditation. Kong was eager to test the strength of these northern warriors, so he challenged Yi to a duel. Intrigued by Kong, Yi decided to humor him. Within moments of his first strike, Kong knew he was no match for Yi. To be the best, he would need a mentor. He asked Yi to take him as a pupil and to show him the wonders of the northern lands. In return, he would honor Yi by becoming the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but only under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''Wukong'', and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. After rigorous training, Wukong joined the League of Legends to fulfill his promise and show the world the true power of Wuju.

I pick Tank runes couse he neeed to be tanky. I dont think atack speed or full armor penetration runes will be good so....
Like up he need to be tanky, anyway you can try to do full dps (like i did it next builds). I prefer much more that tanky runes and masteries cos i'm not so squishy thats why this build is my favorite.
I max nimbus stike cos is really powerfull after crushing blow and decoy is last. But you need decoy really earli to harras your opponents, Always try to crushing blow 1st and after nimbus and cyclone, all becouse your "q" skill reduce armor thats mean next attack will make more dmg ;), if you have not range or somethink dont worry use your "e" 1st its also good combo.
I show you how to build wu in 5 diffrent ways, you will pick best for you, anyway always remember you need choose items to your opponents. If they have a lot of tanks (hp/armor) build black cleaver, last whisper, madreed etc. Always remember you need to be tanky to cos your ult need time to do dmg (also you) its not like olaf or master yi who cannot be slowed etc. if you will get stun you need to be enough tanky to dont die too fast :). Also if you are more tanky you do more dmg (meaby your dmg is lower but you can hit and hit and hit..... and if you are squishy you just hit,hit and die).
I pick exhaust and flash cos is my favorite spells also you can pick:
I try to jungle but i think is not good idea, jungle as wu is too slow (for me), i think he is really good ganker but i dont like that idea. When i try to jungle i start from wrights (items vampiric sctepter) when you start do wrights 1st sime the big one and after jump to them ("e" skill) all cos you will jump to the 3 others in same time ;) after wolfs jump twice to them just like to wrights (nn waste more mana) add to "q" skill and go to golems smite 1 and finish them, recall. Buy cloth armor and 2 pots go to the blue use skills when possible (start "q" after "e") later go to wolfs, wrights and golems, recall buy boots and 2 pots again go to kill lizard, wolfs, wrights and golems after and you will be already 6. Is pretty hard to kill blue at 1st so do not try this also you nn blue at all cos his skills are really cheap. Ofc gank between you kill mobs if it possible ;).
If you will pick Line last hit minions cos that is really important, do not hit them all the time cos you will push to hard and you can be ganked. If you see 2 or 3 low hp minions dont be scary to use your "e" skill you will grab them all. Also try to harras your opponents, you can try at lv 1st but thats not really good and if you will jump to hit 2 opponents, you probalby will lose more hp than them. So start harras them at lv 2-3. At lv 2 you will use "q" and "e" skill so it will hurt much more but like before you will loss much hp if they will start to attack you or stuns etc. the most safe harras is at lv 3 when you have your "w" skill now you can hit them with all 3 skills and dont get any dmg ;). When you will reach 6 try to harras before you will start attack and try to kill. Get them to half or somethink and after try to kill. Also dont try do it if you are too close theirs turret cos they probalby will run. All cos your ult need time to do much dmg. You will be do pretty good combo will slowers and stunners. If you will play with soraka or janna you can harras them pretty safe from lv 1 also, its all depending from enemy and your team.
About 1st build
I want say somethink about this build cos is my favorite. It dont look pretty good but all cos of bugged champion stats, like hp/dmg/mres etc. Also thats why i writing this. i played a lot as lee sin and i make this build for him but now i use it for wu ;) there is build for lee where you can see all start (ofc stats for wu be little other cos of hp at lv 18 ad and other cos all character have others anyway it isnt really much changes i gues so...)
I need to say 1 thing more cos moba dont add ad or ap from items like archengel (i gues) manamune, atma so you need to add dmg from atma by yourself in this or others builds also.
For my lee sin is 2% x 3111 hp = 62 dmg and when you will add this my lee sin and also wukong have about 247 dmg. Pretty nice huh ? 3.1k hp 247 dmg 166armor and 123magic resist. Ofc they dont have much atack speed but they really need it ?? with theirs attack speed passive i dont think so ;).
