Kog'Maw, the Mouth of the Abyss
When the prophet Malzahar was reborn in Icathia, he was led there by an ominous voice which thereafter anchored itself to his psyche. From within, this voice bestowed upon him terrible purpose, and though Malzahar was no longer tormented by its call, the voice did not cease its unrelenting summons. This baleful beacon's gentle flicker -- now fastened to Runeterra -- drew forth a putrid beast that ambled across a threshold it did not understand, widening a fissure between the spaces which were never meant to meet. There amongst the haunting ruins of Icathia, Kog'Maw manifested in Valoran with unsettling curiosity. The spark which led him to Runeterra teased him still, urging him gently towards Malzahar. It also encouraged him to familiarize himself with his new environment, to the stark horror of everything he encountered on his journey.
The enchanting colors and aromas of Runeterra intoxicated Kog'Maw, and he explored the fruits of the strange world the only way he knew how: by devouring them. At first he sampled only the wild flora and fauna he happened across. As he traversed the parched Tempest Flats, however, he came upon a tribe of nomads. Seemingly unhampered by conventional rules of physics, Kog'Maw consumed every nomad and any obstacles they put in his way, amounting to many times his own mass and volume. The most composed of his victims may have had time to wonder if this was due to the caustic enzymes which stung the ground as they dripped from his gaping mouth, although such musings were abruptly concluded. When his wake of catastrophe reached the Institute of War, and enthusiastic Malzahar greeted him with an enticing prospect: taste the best Runeterra could offer...on the Fields of Justice.

if playing with skype u will definitely win (stuns helping u = 100% kill = 100% win)
i the one that kills feeded ppl easily
its a nasty worm
last champ hitting with op range ult
no coordintation with team and u will suck
ult can only be used once or twice.. mana cost increases per use in a short time
Masteries and summoner spells
Definitely the worst cons that kog have is the squishyness
lets try to help him with masteries, runes and summoner spells
9/21/0 is the best choice definitely
23/6/1 is not a bad option
Ghost+ Flash = must.. if u dont have this both you are probably gonna fail unless the other team are noobs, then swap Ghost for Teleport or Ignite
I dont really like this passive so much, if i would have the chance to pick any passive that can help me a little more when fighting, i would... i dont like dying and when u die u have to be fast enought to chase.. the only benefit is that u can make some enemy use a flash Flash or ghost Ghost to escape from u..
nice skill to initiate a 1v1.. RIOT did 1 thing real good with this skill that is giving it little range, so when u initiate dpsing someone with this you are near him and then when you activate your w Bio-Arcane Barrage and u have more range u can freely dps without moving while they escape away
Your bread and butter.. Kog has the amazing thing that he just have to take care of his positioning, just that, then activate this skill and autoattack... main dmg from kog comes from auto attack... this skill was recently buffed up (dunno why) but now when u have ur nashor tooth u can have it always activated..
its a poor cc, easy to avoid and NOBODY fears from it... does a little dmg... sometimes when im getting too much zoned i use it for lasthitting 2 minions..
great great great range.. u can use it once, twice, and no more cause ur mana pool will decrease REAL fast..
1 good tip ---> i normally dont use this in a 1v1 cause i interrupt my auto attack, that makes more dmg, i only use it to check bushes or lasthit runners
Important things to remember
-you MUST always have mana for bio-arcane barrage
-if you want to win you just need three things (difficult):
.first, your positioning is the clue for everyting, you must always be the last man
.second, you need your teammates to help you with the anti-carrys, trust me, every1 will try to focus you
.third, u must never stop dpsing, u make 10% (min) dmg to every1 so it dont really cares who you are dpsing
-dont risk yourself too much before madred, u can kill any1 fast, but you will die faster
-You must believe im stupid telling you never to change your build, there r millions of ways to build kog and millions of items that works real good... but your objective is to be a constant bursting dps and this way you can get it with cheap items (except madred's)
-Ill explain it again...
.AP= 25 (malady)+ 55 (nashor tooth) +25 (haunting guise)==total of 105ap..
.DMG(magic)= Madred dmg=4% + Bio-arcane Barrage=6%(+1% per 100ap)==total of 10%(+1% per 100 ap).. with 100 ap add 1% so its 11% per hit
.MP= 15% (masteries)+ 24 (Malady) + 20 (Haunting Guise) + 20 (Sorcerer Shoes)+ 25(Caustic Spittle)+ 9(runes)= 15%+98mp = omg... every gets reduced his magic resistance to 0 except the main tank.. so u hit fully 11%
.AS= 4% (masteries)+ 40% (madred)+ 50% (malady)+ 50% (nashor tooth)= total of 144%(translated.. ur as is 2.111 hits per second) YES 2 hits of 11% total hp per second...

i think there r much more better choices for mid and solotop
your perfect lane partner would be a taric or a janna.. u will be more safe with taric but your % to kill someone with janna increases a lot..
try not to get harrassed at early, you are too squishy, try to play in a defensive playstyle at early only lasthitting and an agressive playstyle at late..
1. know the range of your Q
2. study how is he going to escape, if not what are ur posibilities
3. get in Q range (risky)
4. E him
5. almost insta Q him
6. turn on W and start auto-attacking him... remember when your W is on you have a lot more range
7. end him with an ult when he tries to escape
8. stand on top of his dead body and press Shift+1 (ta-tada tada tada tada tada ta-ta)
-RULE n.1 POSITIONING
you must always be far from the other team at the max range you can have...NEVER initiate
-RULE n.2 TARGETING
you must play in an intelligent way about who to target, remember that u will do 11% per hit so there r no difference from squishys or tough ppl to you.. so always dps some1 that is not the tank.. always dps.. NEVER chase with kog..
-Rule n.3 RETREAT
know when to get back, there are lots of times you know you wont win, know when to go back, try to pay attention to all kind of things, as where to get into a teamfight
-RULE n.4 TEAMMATES
ask your teammates to protect you, show them why, you will do lots of dps, be prepared to be the enemy team main focus..
kog its just amazing at dominion..
with your range u can kill any1 real fast
for the build just change the old madred's for the new one, the build will get real cheap..
maybe u can change nashor tooth for wit end, u will do 42 more magic dmg, in dominion u dont need too much the cooldown amount... though u wont have the 1% more of dmg cause u wont reach 100 ap.. but u will deal a great dmg too
