Hello there. Thank you for looking at my Kog'Maw build. This is how I have played him over the last week, and it has worked wonders for me. I have gone 24/4/2 with this build.

I love Kog'Maw for his range, anti-tank abilities, and his passive, Icathian Suprise.

Summoner Spells:

Cleanse - As Kog'Maw, you have no escape mechanism. If you get ganked, your only hope is void ooze. Most likely the enemy champions have something to stop/slow you as well. With cleanse, you can run away and harass them from range.

Clarity - Since your range is already off the charts, your going to want to be able to kill any runners. How do you do this? Spam your ultimate. Doing so will drain your mana, which is where Clarity comes in. It is also a great tool to lane longer. Since your range will already be longer than most other champions, you wont lose health that often, and you'll regen it fast enough.

Early Game:
Grab a mana manipulator and head to your lane. With 7.2 mana regen, you should be able to lane easily until you get your ultimate. Then its like stealing candy from a baby.
Farm minions and harass the enemies until you have enough cash for the soul shroud. With more mana regen, extra health, and cooldown reduction, you should be able to lane against 2 champions by yourself. Start working on your boots.

Middle Game:
By now, (level 10), you should have your boots and be working on a Tear of the Goddess. Then onto the Archangels Staff. The more mana you have, the better Archangels will get.
By around level 14, you should have the Archangels staff. Start working on a Deathfire's Grasp. Its ability power and cooldown reductions will allow you to spam even more deadly artillery.

Endgame:
For the endgame items, you will be getting a Nashor's Tooth and Zhonya's Ring. Nashors Tooth will give you a nice little AP boost, and more cooldown reduction. Your ultimate should be under .6 seconds by now. Hell yes, super fast. Zhonya's ring will be the cherry on top. With all these items, your AP will be high enough to destroy anyone from a range that Karthus' ultimate would be proud of.

When you attack someone, I recommend this ability combo;

VO
CS
BAB

If they run before VO is up, spam LA at them in conjunction with BAB for the added range. If your aim is good you should be able to kill them.

GL and happy killings.
