This is the Re-Re-Re- edit. Not going to change it anymore.

Pros:

+ Void Ooze is decent AOE dmg
+ Void Ooze Slow down AOE
+ Caustic Spittle gives additional armor penetration
+ Bio-Arcane Barrage gives you extended range for a certain period of time
+ Amazing Range with his ultimate, Living Artillery
+ By far one of my favorite passive abilities in the game, Icathian Surprise (go boom after you die)
+ Sorta cute in a weird way; best /dance in the game

Cons:

- Squishy, low health
- Consumes mana really fast
- No real escape ability
- Item Dependent Champ!

Spells

Clarity:

Kog'Maw totally needs this in early levels, huge mana hog.

Flash:

I picked flash for my quick escape. Its saved me god knows how many times. You can replace this with ignite if you want to me more offensively but flash is a life saver.

Masteries

It's there for you to see. Focused mostly on magic stuff.

Playstyle and Items!

Item List

#1) For the sake of mana, I get Meki Pendant 1st and work my way to Fiendish codex, which Later will be used for Narshor's Tooth.

#2) Boots! Either Boots of Swiftness or Sorcerer's Shoes. Sorcerer's Shoes are great if you want to play more offensively.

#3) This part is important!!! If you're doing good and earning enough gold I suggest getting Trinity Force fist before Guinsoo's Rageblade. It gives you atk dmg, atk speed and ability power, PLUS move faster, more health and mana which helps with your survival, PLUS has a chance to slow down target and increase your base attack damage for one attack. Nice item to have early in game if you can afford it. The Order I buy the item is Zeal 1st, Sheen 2nd and then Phage. If you're not earning enough gold, then just follow the order listed above and get Guinsoo's Rageblade instead.

#4) Nashor's Tooth is the Kog'Maw item. Faster attack speed combined with his extended range from Bio-Arcance barrage is very very useful. Not to mention the mana regain and cooldown reduction.

#5) Your either getting Trinity Force here or Guinoo's Rageblade. Rageblade is awesome and i highly recommend. Attack speed goes up ask you attack plus your Ability power goes up as you attack. Awesome item.

#6) Deathfire Grasp gives you more cooldowns, more mana regain, more ability power PLUS another ability. This item can knock off a chuck of health from any champ.

#7) The last item on my list, Hextech Gunblade. I get the Bligewater Cutlass before Hextech Revolver because this is where the activated ability comes from. The range is much shorter but still useful.

Playstyle

Early Game

Stay a far distance away from the enemy. If your mid, always play cautiously. If your laning with someone, lane with a tank or a strong melee dps. Let them go in first and you fire safely from behind. If you feel like your lane buddy is going to be ganked, make sure you have Void Oooze ready to save them. Once you reach level 6, you can start being annoying and using your Living Artillery to push champs back and get kills.

Mid Game

Around here your tower should be down and you can start supporting other lanes. Your attack pattern should be as follows.

#1) Bio-Arcane Barrage
#2) Void Ooze
#3) Auto attack unless they run ... then you
#4) Void Ooze if its Cooldown and/or Living Artillery till dead or out of range (rarely happens)
#5) Rinse and Repeat

I rarely use Caustic Spittle unless the enemy champ gets close. I never try to get close and use it.

Late Game

At this point, you deal enough damage with your auto attack and your spells are fearful. Just keep a distance because you are still a main target. In a huge group battle, don't go rushing in unless you know u can grab a kill. Otherwise, let your team members rush in first and you give them range support.

Final Thoughts and Tips[/u]

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE! Kog'Maw is squishy! if you're not doing so hot in a game, team up with the tank or some other player. Don't Solo if you don't understand his abilities.

If you notice someone running off to the side, or behind a wall, try to hit them with living artillery. This might get you a kill if their low on health and if not, reveal them to see what sneaky things they are doing.

PRACTICE!

Don't Spam Living Artillery on minions, that can easily cost you your mana.

Buy Elixir of Brilliance when you have the extra gold. Buffs up your ability power and your cooldowns, very nice.

COMMENT PLEASE! DON'T JUST LEAVE ME WITH A NEGATIVE SCORE AND ME WONDERING WHY. K THANKS!
