his ulti only stacks with 50% of additional AD. so like, 150-200 bonus damage that doesnt effect any of your other skills.
AP kog scales 30% of AP. for 200 additional damage for AP kog, you only need 600 AP which is super easy to get with 2 archangels+rabadon+void+rylai+boots, which can bring you to over 800 with blue pot. also, the rylai and the archangels come with a massive mana pull, huge mana regen, extra HP, a slow, along with it affecting all your other skills.
AD kog works, but not if its only for your ultimate. his AD scaling with his ultimate isnt as good as you make is out to be.
TL;DR: do some math first.

From your post I can see you either didn't read the guide or didn't understand it. I guess, it's both.
Full build in AP and AD provides about the same damage, you didn't try it, I know that, just grab your calculator and have a guess. GO ingame and proof that you deal significant damage more with your ult and how you sustain yourself. I know it works but there is no way to fix the range of the other spells to go full glasscanon. Read AP kog guides first, thx.
While it is true Rylais could work, it doesn't. The slow is incredible bad and you are faster anyway, noone escapes you. Indeed it is much harder to hit someone that is slowed that little. Also the heath is completely wasted. You ddin't read the part how to use the build. It is not meant to tank anything and therefore uses no defensive stuff, what a waste of an item slot even as AP.
And again we got enough mana and manaregeneration, no problems ever occurred with that.
And then the part with the skills... If someone comes close to you, I promise my build will deal more damage, even though that idea to go in range of your Q is so ******ed that you should loose any game. Stack archangels to face a bruiser that you can't even meet in your spawn? Sounds like a good plan. Not.
Honestly without the rylais part you proved me that you didn't try to understand the idea, I'm sorry. I also hope you don't play AP Kog'Maw tanking their team to deal damage with your oh so cool affected abilities.
