Okay, this is my first guide, so dont be very impressed. I just wanted to post up the way how I play trundle. He is often played as jungler, but in my opinion he is very good in lane too, thanks to his strong early game damage. How ever, I prefer to build him nearly full tanky as you might realize. NOTICE!: This build is done especially against AD accentuated teams, SO YOU SHOULDN'T USE THIS AGAINST STRONG MAGE TEAM.

I love the health runes for trundle, they usually give him very strong early laning especially in solo-top. The armor-penetration runes are of course for some increased damage, but you can always swap them to health marks too, altough you aren't going to get much of HP from them. Magic resistance glyphs are absolutely to solo-top laning in my opinion. Even though you should not lane vs. strong range/mage champions, magic resist is good vs. any character, in my opinion.

I don't really care so much about masteries and never used time study them propely. I usually take executioner in offencive tree and leave defencive tree to veteran's scars...

As I said earlier, this is tanky build and you should realize it when you look the items :). You get huge Atmas boost if you get these same items. The AD you get is like 80, so same grade as infinity edge. If you have farmed well and got champ kills in mid game too, warmogs benefits too. You can swap the sunfire cape to the guardian angel, and it's even recommened in some situations. As I said earlier this isn't build vs. Mages so don't by these items vs. AP teams.
