Well Magewick, AP Warwick, is just another type of playing Warwick. It's one of the best champs for mid and solo top. I often use this guide and it is very usefull and fun 2 play.

So why don't u try it and have fun as i have.

I take 9/0/21 masteries like with other mages.U can choose more defensive masteries if u die many times or if u have troubles with defense.

Summoner Spells

For Summoner Spells I get:

Ignite: Good for lane, very good with ulti and Deathfire Grasp...
Flash: For getting away... DDD, everyone needs Flash lol...

Skill Sequence

Max always for obvious reasons. This spell is your main ability, it lets you shrug off any kind of harassment in the lane and deals great damage after 3rd rank.

I max second for the movement speed, to see if the enemy is blue pilling or to get someone that's getting away. Reason I choose this over W because I rarely push towers past level 6. If you feel like you can take a turret early, take 1 rank earlier.

Passive: Eternal Thirst

Each of Warwick's attacks will heal him for 5/10/15 health. Each successive attack against the same target will restore increasing amounts of health to Warwick.


Its meh, shouldn't really affect you since you should be last hitting but will let you regen a little bit.

Q: Hungering Strike

Strikes an enemy for the greater value between 75 / 125 / 175 / 225 / 275 (+100% of ability power) and 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20% of the target's maximum health (can only do flat damage to monsters), and heals Warwick for 100% of the damage dealt.

Cooldown 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8seconds
Cost 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100mana

Your bread and butter. Hits for Base Damage + your AP or a % of their max health, this spell is great. It does not matter if your enemy stacked 5 Warmogs or has 900 hp, this will hit alot and heal you alot. If the enemy managed to get out of your range and you are getting outharassed, you can still use this on minions to heal back tons.

W: Hunters Call

Warwick lets out a howl that inspires all nearby allied champions. This increases Warwick's attack speed by 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80% and all nearby friendly champions' attack speed by half of that for 10 seconds.

Attack speed boost. I don't get this until level 12 because I right click only to last hit or most of the time I don't get more than 2 hits on one guy. Its helpful if you are pushing a turret though, so if you feel like you are gonna get an early tower, get it earlier.

E: Blood Scent

Passive: Warwick senses enemy champions under 50% life within 1500 / 2300 / 3100 / 3900 / 4700 distance of him; while he detects a low-health enemy, he gains 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% Movement Speed.

Cooldown 45 / 40 / 35 / 30 / 25seconds

Helps you chase and if you manage to get them low enough during laning phase, you are the dominator in the lane now. He harassed you? Laugh at his face and run at him and Q him as he cannot outrun you.

R: Infinite Duress

Warwick lunges at an enemy Champion, stunning and making them unable to use summoner spells for 1.7 seconds. While they are stunned, Warwick quickly strikes the target 5 times for 33% of his attack damage plus 40 / 60 / 80. Warwick gains an additional 30% lifesteal while performing Infinite Duress.

This skill is a great finisher in the lane combined with your ignite, overall great ability in the teamfights to CC their carry. I do not suggest you to use this ******edly if the guy is not below 30-40% because you will not be able to finish them off 90% of the time.

I always start with Doran's Ring,but there are other ways too.

Main Build (what do you really need):

Sorcerer's Shoes

Rabadons Deathcap

Other cool stuff:

LICH BANE- Combined with your Q, this should be great. I used it and it was pretty dmg dealing ****... Hehe, I think it's very important for your build.

RYLAI'S CRYSTAL SCEPTER- More health, slow and AP. Don't know if its worth it but it should be good.

DEATHFIRE GRASP- Combined with your Q and ulti, this should be really great especially after Rabadons so I put it into my build.

VOID STAFF- If the game gets long enough, Get rid of those Doran's Ring, get a Void Staff because teams with brains will get MR after you dmg them with Q for 500-600.

First time I played Warwick I thought: ''Ouu, what a great jungler.'' He truly is a good jungler, but I get bored of jungling, so I want to get a new Warwick play style. I first tried Lanewick, he was good, but then I tried Magewick and he was AWESOME!
