This build focuses on Nocturne's ability to farm in lane. It's very good at getting those minion kills so you can buy items faster. This build is meant to deal a lot of damage quickly, but has little defensive capabilities.

Greater Mark of Desolation x9 - These are for armor pen so you can dish out more damage
x9 - Attack speed is always nice especially when you have life steal.
x9 - These are used so you can use and more often
Greater Quintessence of Desolation x3 - Same thing as marks, more damage.

Leveling and are essential for controlling the lane. is a great tool for farming minions and harassing other champions in lane. Getting at level 4 will be enough until your other skills are maxed because at level 1 blocks any ability so there's no real reason to level it up further until everything else is finished first.

Starting off the game with will help you survive in lane longer early game and help you to farm more. After I get so I move through the lane and farm faster. Having and give you that extra armor pen and damage as well as life steal for some survivability. I usually end the game with to help counter tanks.

I use this for those Hp regen champs like and also it's great for those champs who are just out of reach of your melee with low hp.
