Lee Sin Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
I was disappointed at the lack of raw AD lane Lee Sin builds. So I made one for people like me, people who like to just dominate a lane and go on a massive kill streak.
This build should provide you with the items necessary to kill everything.
Pros / Cons
Closes gaps very well
good at escaping
high damage output
High Skill cap
skill shots take practice
minions block skill shots
Rotation for harassment in lane.
When in lane its good to have control of minion waves, this can be done by harassing the enemy champion in lane with you.
When im harassing I prefer to do enough damage that they are weary until they recall.
If they are a squishy target just shoot sonic wave at them every once in a while.
If they are a little more 'tanky' then you can try going sonic wave>resonating strike>tempest> cripple(to slow/scare him.>then safeguard back and use iron will if you took any damage.
Ganking (3 styles)
Here I'll three ganking techniques for lee sin.
The first one is:
Wait in the bush close to your turret. tell your team mate to fall back and let them push towards the turret. Once they get close enough to the turret use sonic wave/resonating strike to close the gap towards them or use safeguard towards a minion which is more ideal to save your sonic wave. then once you are within range use your ultimate to kick them into your turret. once the turret starts attacking them use tempest/cripple so slow them, or exhaust as well if you need more slow. If they flash away for escape, use sonic wave/resonating strike to close the gap and secure the kill.
The second technique is:
This one requires a team mate with very high meele damage output and slows/stuns if possible. I like to do this with master yi or tryndamere. But any high damage meele is fine. What you need to do is wait in the bush for your team mate to bait the enemy past you. than use your ultimate to kick the enemy into your team mate. then just burst him done and secure the kill.
The third type is:
Okay, so this one is a very sneak, sneak, ninja tactic that should make the enemy panic and make a mistake. This is done the easiest in 3v3 due to how to map is set up. If someone is in top lane you can shoot your sonic wave through the wall from in the jungle, then use resonating strike to go through the wall and hit them. blindness is no impairment.
As I said with the ganking section, team mates can help you secure kill ALOT faster. Using your ultimate to push the enemy towards your team mate allows you time to damage him, and for your team mate to damage him on your way over. Lee Sin is great solo, but he is amazing with a team mate.
This ability is not widely known but EXTREMELY useful.
First buy wriggles lantern then place it behind a wall, in the jungle, or close to your turret. What you can do with this use safeguard to dash towards the ward it places. this is great for juking people in the jungle or escaping a losing lane fight.
Armor Penetration Marks,
Armor per level seals,
Magic resist glyphs,
flat health regeneration quintessences.
The Armor penetration marks allow him to make it almost as though his massive attack damage hitting through the armor feels like true damage.
the seals, glyphs, and quintessences, are designed to give him survivability needed when going full attack.
The Masteries are made to focus on anything and everything that makes him hit harder and faster.
You want to always control the minions for a steady levelling, a gold source, and most importantly, controlling the minions means you control the lane.
The easiest way to control the minions is to harass the living daylight out of the enemy.
For how to harass see the section about harassing in lane.
My "Credentials" (about me)
So I have been playing league of legends since about 4 months after it came out. I started exclusively playing melee assassins about a year into the games life. I bought lee sin about half a month after he came out, and have been using him as my main ever since.
I have tried using full tank, off-tank, attack speed, support, and jungle builds. But by far this has to be the most fun, people will actually get scared and run away when they see you. So much so that I had a thread made about me on the forums saying that lee sin was OP because I beat him so bad. As I said, the most fun build.
SO in 3v3 I the best I've gotten was 36/1/10. Might have even gotten more kills but out Master Yi pushed EVERYTHING.
My best in 5v5 is 45/4/16.
And a lot of those kills were turret dives, possible thanks to the massive damage.
If you have any question feel free to contact me in-game. My new summoner name I Thollin. Whether it be that you want to have some lesson or go pug stomping message me and I'm sure to respond (unless im really busy of course.)
