Lee Sin Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Welcome to my first build ever.
I will try to review a new hero Lee Sin, as a lot of players consider him not worth playing. My aim is to show the bright side of this char. While gaining experience with Lee Sin I have heard a lot of "HAVE YOU EVER SEEN GOOD LEE SIN?", etc. The best thing to counter these guys, is to pawn them in the early game and write:
"CAN YOU SEND SOMEONE WITH BETTER KUNG-FU TO MY LANE?". Such moments are awesome :)
Also I will try to be short and just draw up main guidelines.
Pros / Cons
-runs the best Kung-Fu in the LoL (Xin and Shen would like to disagree);
-great for jungling (I would place him 2nd, after WW);
-deadly for severely injured chars;
-extremely mobile on the battlefield;
-powerful skills and nice damage burst in early/mid game;
-has a nice skill with Lifesteal;
-has 2 CC skills.
-a bit squishy;
-usually is the first one targeted by enemy team;
-looses a grasp in lategame.
- a must for a chaser.
- really helps you to chase enemy, aim with your Sonic Wave or simply escape.
- useful for Lee, as you will usually find yourself stunned or disabled in the middle of enemy.
- who can catch a hero with 3 flashing abilities?
I would like to stress this chapter. In my opinion, most mistakes, why playing Lee, is made at items selection. I think Lee is somewhere between tank and AD. I am playing him this way.
So, we will need:
-extra speed for chasing;
I usually start my game buying and . This regen, pot and let me to stay on a line for a long time. After you have enough cash, you must go back and get . THIS IS A GREAT ITEM (cheap, you start to farm fast, nice damage and solid HP regen). If you have more coins, get .
At this moment you will notice how your cash flow is increasing. So, "nice farming" is done.
For a good speed for chasing your enemies I would recommend . Another option can be . It is really up to you. Now you have green light on "extra speed for chasing" too.
At last we have approached the best part - DAMAGE :) In my games I usually build 2x . That gives me some damage and survivability. After this step I go for (we are done with survivability here), then and then making . But I am not really sure about this item anymore, as it is SOOO Expensive... On the other hand - it benefits Lee in many ways (except Mana). Last thing you want to get for your damage is - nice damage + superb Lifesteal. Now you have "decent damage" too.
The last item is really up to you and situation on the battlefield. I tend to pick some defensive item.
While playing with Lee I have noticed, that he does extremely well with a healer in his line. Early game on the same lane with heroes like
can put you on the victorious rails.
While laning with healers, you can be more active and harass your enemy very bravely.
One more thing must be mentioned - Lee Sin is VERY dependant on the team. If team fails, he is not the one, who will carry team to the victory. Yes, Lee Sin can make a very nice start at the early game, but in mid/late game someone must take initiative.
Lee Sin Kung-Fu videos
In this chapter I have put some videos about various tricks and possibilities you can do with Lee Sin.
1. Exhaust, Ghost and Sonic Wave COMBO
2. Revealing stealth units with Sonic Wave skill
3. Killing a low-health (like 1/5 HP) chaser in a second and getting away
4. Canceling Katarina`s ulti with Dragons`s Rage
7. Nice farming with Tiamat
In the near future I will put additional chapters about Jungling, playing in ranked games and additional videos. Also I will reconsider
- is it worth enough for Lee Sin?
I am looking forward to hear any suggestions and changes for this build, as I believe Lee Sin can be really good and useful hero for any team.
