If you don't win early game, you tear them up late game.
Really, I'm not the guy who explains to you how to play. It's your style.
Just go with it.

Pros:
-Tanky, you won't die fast
-Sexy damage
-Extreme rapist
-Cool character overall
Cons:
-This character is hard to play, and by no means is this build perfect.

It's recommended that you get armor penetration runes, or maybe attack speed if you have that already. Having both would help, but the effects on either one are diminished.
CDR is alright, but it's not that great because you run out of energy fast enough already.
Extra energy runes are kinda useless. It's going to help you spam 1 extra skill, and that might count if you get lucky.

Beserker's greaves for the attack speed
Bloodthirsters for MAXIMUM DAMAGE
Infinity Edge and Phantom Dancer for teh crits, and Phantom for the attack speed.
Frozen Mallet for that sweet sweet slow and the good chunk of health.
If you want, you can replace the infinity edge with a Last Whisper. That armor penetration is GREAT.

Now, when you first decide to gank or engage someone, you have to KNOW YOU CAN KILL THEM. Let's say you manage to pull off your skills once. Does the damage add up enough equal to their health? What if you add a few extra kicks to the face? How about 1 more E or Q?
Well, you have 2 choices when you know you can kill them.
1a. Hit first with Sonic Wave, and get in range with Resonating Strike. Simple right? BUT, you MUST BE IN RANGE if your in the bushes. You must not reveal yourself.
1b. Zoom in with Safegaurd to your creep to get in range. USE THIS IF ONLY YOU CANNOT REACH THEM WITH SONIC WAVE. When you land a hit, immediate chase up to them with Sonic Wave if you still didn't close enough. Now here comes the sweet part.
2. Right after you land next to him, use your Tempest to land a hit, and followup with Cripple. If the target uses Cleanse, feel free to use Exhaust.
3.RIGHT CLICK to land a few hits (2 or 3). Then run in front of the enemy.
4. Make sure you are IN FRONT of the target when you're doing this, so you knock them the OPPOSITE way they are running to.
5. Spam skills.
6. ???
7. PROFIT!!!

Safeguard your way into your farthest friendly unit that is within your reach. If there is none, use your Exhaust on the fastest mofo chasing you. Then pop a ghost up and run until you get in range. If somehow all of your teammates are dead and no creeps are around, hope you can out run them.
If one of them is squishy, and you are SURE you can land a hit with Sonic Wave, do it while running :\
If it lands on your target, blast them back into the past with Resonating Strike and Tempest. Also be sure you have enough energy,
Another INGENIOUS way to run like a little girl is by successfully Sonic Wave the enemy champion that is farthest back in the group, and Resonating Strike him. Use the exhaust on HIM/HER and immediately roundhouse kick the champion all the way back, knocking up all of the enemy champions. Then use ghost (if you haven't already) and RUN THE HELL OUT OF THERE.
