Introduction

As we all know Lee Sin is, like Akali a very strong 1v1 champion. Perfect for Dominion. This build has a very strong early game to allow your team to win the 3v3/4v4 top fight at the start of the game. And, since he is an offtank, he has a very strong late game without being able to get countered by denying farm. The last thing you have to do in Dominion is farm! (he also perfectly counters Akali :P)

Pros / Cons

Pros
  • Very mobile with Trinity and Boots of Mobility
  • Great chaser to take down enemy capturers
  • Good mix of burst and sustained damage
  • Great utility with a shield, slow and knockback
  • Tanky so he can easily capture and defend capture points
  • Counters a lot of popular Dominion champions
  • Great early and late game game
Cons
  • Mid game is less impressive when working on warmogs
  • Not as strong against very strong defenders.

Runes

Arpen Marks: Strong early game damage.

Armor and Mres Seals/glyphs: Be very tanky at level 3 to win the capturepoint and to start dominating.

Items

Start with lvl1 Boots, Long Sword and a Ruby Chrystal for a strong tanky early game. The Long Sword and Ruby Chrystal can be built into Phage really quickly if you happen to die early. Boots of Mobility are a must in Dominion if you are not a defender, allows you to quickly cap and respond to attacks.

Next up is Trinity Force, I don't think this needs any explaining, it's a great item on Lee. Warmog's to get very beefy, folowed by either Atma's or Hexdrinker depending on what enemy is the most dangerous to you. (AD/AP). Finish the other unbuilt item to round up your build.

The last items are very flexible and most games should have ended before you can buy them, FoN and Thornmail are excellent choices.

Skill Sequence

Having every skill at level 3 gives you much more versatility, allowing you to do damage, dash to safety, save an ally and slow the attackers. You should usually level up during the fight for the top capture point. So make sure to level up your Sonic Wave/Resonating Strike(Q). Your Q will be your main source of damage.

Leveling Safeguard/Iron Will(W) next improves your 1v1 potential and utility.

Tempest/Cripple(E) is leveled up last since it does not scale as well as the other skills.

Ofcource a point in Dragon's Rage(R) whenever you can.

Summoner Spells

I take Ghost to be able to rush to top and start capturing it, or atleast be there well before the enemy has captured it. Ghost is better used as a tool to move quickly between capture points when needed than to save your life, since the respawn times are very short early/mid game.

Promote could be exchanged with any other spell but I found it to be very strong. It allows a minion wave to push and capture a tower on its own if no enemy champions interfere. And you also get a nice amount of gold from using it. With the mastery it only has a 150 second cooldown.

Usage

At level one you should attempt to capture the top capture point to get a lead in the score, from here on you should defend your point and push when the enemy is dead/healing. Always keep an eye on enemy flanking attemps. You are Lee Sin and great at taking out single enemy champions.

Once you got trinity you should be stronger than most champions at this level. Go hunt for enemies you can kill and take their capture points, try to take out the enemy Akali or other squishies.

The general strategy is defend if you have more points than the enemy and attack if you have less, take out enemy capturers ASAP but if the point you are defending is under attack don't leave it, even if it means dieing if you can hold it 30 seconds longer.
