Additionnal comments

Try to remember trundle is very good solo, but can still be countered by some burst chars or poke chars like mordekaiser. If you are a jungler you can usually forget about trundle at the top who will do the job on his own, but still keep an eye on his lane in case you can get a kill or a tower.

End game

Trundle is very bad at teamfights, you should try to get your team to keep a pressure somewhere WITHOUT engaging the ennemy or taking risks !! This is very important ! They MUST NOT engage the fight unless they are sure to win it. If they keep the pressure, you will be able to push a lane on top or bot and the ennemy team won't be able to send more than 1 or 2 people against you, and as I said trundle is very good at 1v1 1v2. In the worst case, you will just have to fall back and go push somewhere else before coming back again. A trundle in a teamfight is quite useless, all he can do is slow on a small zone and ulti something to make it more vulnerable. It can still help though, use your brain to join fights when NEEDED and not when ASKED. Most people are dimwits who think scoring 2 kills is more important than destroying 2 towers. As I always say, who cares if you did 0/6 or so and got 8 towers 3 dragons and 2 inhibs? Do the math.

Mid game

Once you've got boots, BoRK and BT, you have a hell of lifesteal, a lot of slows and a lot of means to heal yourself. You can now start to push and try to get towers. Ennemies will have a hard time catching you as you slow them with E and run with ghost and Z. Trundle is very good for 1v1, so the top should prove no problem for you to kill. Remember a tower is worth 750 team gold, which is a lot more than a kill, worth 300 solo gold. Better to have everyone a little more fed than 1 very fed and the rest weaklings. Try to get sheen to push even more.

Early game

Trundle is suprising in many ways, he has only 2% of all played games (LoLKing stats) and is therefore one of the least known champions. People underestimate him a lot, or think he is some kind of tank. Trundle is a 1v1 1v2 specialist, and a pusher. He can destroy towers as fast as a nasus can, and can kill a lot of tanky chars and so on by stealing their defense stats and lowering their attack damage. A lot of people will forget that his Q steals their AD and buffs his, and mostly that his next Q will dish out a lot more than the first one. Use this wisely. As for the laning, keep yourself under tower at the beginning untill lvl 3, where you can try once the number of minions goes down to push the ennemy under your turrer with your E, and attack him there, pursue with ghost + Z and slow him with Q and exhaust. This will usually suprise most people.
