I was thinking about it but I really don't ever get it and I never really cared about it. Getting to my core items ASAP seems to work really well for me and if I really feel I need the Tenacity I get Mercs. No one tries to CC Leona anyways so I am usually free to do as I please :p

Interesting build. It is almost like a Nasus build but with more tank and utility. Still her farming and laning phase could be better but phil. stone helps that. Other than atmas and trinity force (to a degree), what other items do you think could help her be a little more threatening?

+1 from me. And you have improved a lot since your lux build. I am Starting to see you get use to the formatting language.

Problem with Leona is shes a good duolaner but were to put her? top is solo bot is
supp ranged carry and mid ap carry best place for her would like amumus in the jungle
but she would need higher basedamages on low level for that.

anyways the build is good i build her nearly the same but why the hell ignite? i mean
shes a tank u just will grab kills from the carries i think exhaust or port would be
better, just my opinion

875 hp
78 move speed

So she's basically a snail

It should show the end game (With items included) stats... not her defaults, or w/e those stats are haha

Great guide Elementz! Finally some guidance on how to play Leona. My friends and I have been debating for the past week on how to play her effectively. I kept insisting that getting dps items is viable, and they wouldn't listen :( Now I can finally prove them wrong!!!! :D

I've got a gameplay question for you, though: Do you think it's better to initiate with E into the Q stun and then ult, or ult and then use E and Q stun?

Yea AP items doesn't scale with Leona skills.

E (zenith blade) can't hit minions, so I'm not sure what you mean by targeting their caster minions with E/W combos. Unless you mean targeting an enemy champ behind the caster minions.

I've been using a similar build to yours, though I go for ninja tabi or mercury threads depending on the enemy team composition. I agree 100% that CDR is fantastic on her, but I get it through Shurelya's Reverie + frozen heart. I hadn't been using triforce on her, but I think I'll give it a shot since you recommend it and my burst dmg was a bit lacking in my eyes.

E does hit minions, it just doesn't drag you to them....
