Solo Baron with Leona:
This guide is for jungling. First of all you have 2 choice to begin with. Blue side or Red Side. Each side has several benefits so I will try to explain as much as I can.
1- Blue Side Start: Route should be Blue Buff->Gromp->Wolves->Gank mid/top -> If you have enough HP go get red (if your enemy has a jungler who can steal your red)
Benefits: This route is the best route for no aoe or sustain champions. It keeps your hp in a good level so you can go to your red side jungle too.
Down Sides: Only down side is if enemy has a counter jungler they can steal your red buff. Also Red side gives more experience but nowadays it is hard to start from red side.
2- Red Side Start: I personally don't try to start from red side no matter what.
Route: Red Buff->Krugs->Birds->Crab->Gank mid or bot, If you have enough Hp go ahead and clear Blue side too since it is way easier than red side.
Benefits: With this route you get by far the best experience. You can even be lvl 3 in 3-4 mins. Great route for 3 lvl gankers like Shaco,Xin Zhao, Lee Sin etc.
Down Sides: This route have many mob spawns and if you dont have any aoe skills it is really hard to do it. It is time consuming but great on gaining exp.
How to be a Better Jungler:
As a jungler your most important job is being awere of map! Means you gotta keep track of enemy cooldowns (flash/ulti/TP) You gotta know when Dragon/Baron Spawns ( Easy with new patch you always see the cooldown but you gotta remind your teammates when Dragon or Baron will spawn cause they are busy with dealing farming/enemy harrass/ jungler ganks)
Always ping as soon as you decided to gank a lane. If you pinged a lane to gank dont try to abandon it unless you see a good opportunitiy.
Always buy pink ward and place it between top and mid. (yes that is your job!) So your top and mid laner might save themselves from 1-2 enemy jungler ganks which is good for you. Enemy jungler will lose time and buy sweeper (if you want to Counter Jungle) Always try to smite Birds for the vision buff and clear the wards around the map
Always choose a jungle path which gives you gank opportunities faster. For example: If you feel like enemy top laner will push ( Riven, Irelia, Vlad always pushes lanes :) ) then start with wolves go for gromp then take blue and you can good to gank top lane when it is pushed. But if you start gromp then go blue then you try to kill wolves you lose time to walk back to top lane.
Be efficient with you time. Do not waste time walking mid lane if your mid lane is pushed. Go farm mobs when all lanes are pushed. Also ganking top lane is always tricky after lvl 6 , DO not camp top unless you see neemy jungler close to their top lane, cause if you camp top enemy jungler can easily take drag.
Try to help lanes that has disadvantage in lane (Irelia vs Ryze/Vlad) ranged vs melee match ups are tough. So help your poor Irelia :) Dont forget that your team as strong as your weakest lane.
If you are gonna use Leona in jungle you gotta realize that best way to build her Hybrid. Cause ap scaling of Leona abilities low but on hit effect items and also low amount of ap makes huge difference along with good ad items. Leona's most powerful ability is hitting 3 auto attacks in no time. To ensure that you have to get some attack speed. Attack speed also good for your jungle clearance speed. And in teamfights stunning and dealing 3-4 aa damage to a target will diea quickly. Leona has insane cc so use it to auto attack more with your runes and builds.
In teamfights Leona's passive make your focus take tons of damage. So you have to focus an apc or adc in teamfights and killing him will not be that hard with a little bit help from your team. So my build is for teamfights mostly and to give you ability to clear jungle as fast as possible.
I personally prefer Skirmisher-Devourer or Ranger-Devourer. As I said before attack speed is important for clearing jungle fast and performing as much attacks as possible while your enemies are crowd controlled by your stuns/snares.
Most important part of skill sequence is knowing how to use your q ability to make 3 attacks. Autoattack first then right after it use your q and then right click on your target 2-3 times to make 1 extra attack right away. Key part is right clicking your opponent several times after your q. it looks like a shield slam and a normal attack.
While ganking a lane try to save your (e) for your enemy's flash. If you can w/aa/q/aa your opponent probably gonna die. If he flash you can use your (e) and can get a clean kill.
While clearing jungle always max (W) to get more armor and more aoe damage.
In ranked games your job as Leona jungle is ganking as much as possible. Leona lvl 3 ganks are most powerful ganks since you have 2 cc ability+red buff. Try to gank mid and top lane 2x times until your lvl 6 and after your lvl 6 if enemy bot lane is pushing you can force a gank there. Dont worry if it is warded just rush into lane and use your (r) if you can land an ultimate it will lead to 1-2 kills.
Pros / Cons
-Insane CC on ganks and teamfights
-Powerful if you build ad/as on him and use aa/q/aa combo
-If you choose to build offtank you can almost protect your adc/apc forever
-Slow jungle clearance
-Easy to get Counter Jungled
-Weak vs agressive counter junglers.
-Weak on solo Drags
-Cant counter jungle well
-Relies on items.
Creeping / Jungling
I personally choose red side as Leona jungle. Cause Leona jungle clearance is a nightmare in first 3-4 levels. That is why I also buy Rangers-Devourer
Red Side Start: I personally try to start from red side no matter what.
Route Golems(smite)->Birds (kill small ones first)->Crab (for sustain/cooldowns)->Red Buff (smite)->gank mid/bot lane
Benefits: With golem start you get stun buff for every 5 attacks which is great for AS junglers. After you get red buff ganks will be easier and easier to force your enemies to flash. Red Side Start allows you to punish early agressive enemy bot laners (almost none of them wards river in first 4 mins)
Down Sides: If you are mana based champion like Fiddlesticks you have to return base, If you have no aoe damage it takes slightly more time than clearing Blue side jungle.
Use your cc to either lock down enemy adc/apc(without zhonya) or use it to protect your adc/apc(again without zhonya:) )
You can perform 3 auto attack with Leona instantly. aa first then use your (1) ability then press your enemy to aa again. It will allow you to perform 3 attacks in 1 sec
Farming is nightmare with Leona, it relies on your itemization a lot. So either build Hydra ( build early if your team is ahead) or build Iceborn Gauntlets to help your farming. Iceborn also works well with your (q) skill and gives you good amount of armor and cooldown reduction.
