Nice topic about fizz ! it's my main and it was a really good guide for the beginning !

honestly i find a couple of things in this guide just completly wrong. first of all, in one of the sections you mention that if you are losing in lane, for example a kassadin. fizz dominates kassadin hard core. you just need to be able to play against him correctly, your burst trumps his, and your playful/trickster negates his silence. so aslong as you have decent reaction timing, you will destroy a lane against kassadin, also i find you are repeating yourself a fair bit in the skills section, it just makes me feel that this is a half ***ed guide and is unprofessional. i agree that fizz is a strong ganker and every game you should roam as soon as you have a chance, for instance your opponent has backed, you shuv lane and then go bot or top or invade their jungler. one of the easiest ways to get a kill as fizz is if they have a squishy or less then tanky jungler for example shaco, leesin, notcturne ect you can camp out their jungle by buying a ward or two and then once you see tht he is beloew half you go and kill him and escape with ease as this guide will probably only appeal to low tier players the other lanes more then likely have poor map awareness and will not go and help so long as you are quick and efficiant.



upvote if helpful, personally i found some parts helpful but as soon as i saw your reasoning into who youget countered by i tuned out as it is simply wrong, champs that would counter fizz are people with area of effect abilities and skill shots. as all lock on abilities can be negated by playful/trickester. also mentioning that skills can be negated by it will be helpful to newer players.

After the nerf of the lich bane, would it be better to replace it by another item or its not worth it?

Gonna have to downvote.... Good guide, but 1 thing bothers me... Under Pro's for Fizz you mention him being boss at farming.... He has to be one of the worst farmers in game as far as ap mids go... He has to get in melee range first off so he's gonna get poked each time he goes to last hit.... especially at lvl 1. After that most likely the other ap mid can easily push a fizz to his turret cause they can farm way better than a fizz. Any mid I can think of farms better.. Orianna, Lux, Malzahar (Lolz), TF, anything ... Definitely a con for fizz. When a fizz is pushed to his turret he loses his greatest appeal in ranked games and thats his ganks.

I STRONGLY disagree with you saying that his ult being a skill shot is a con. if it wasn't a skill shot then he wouldn't be able to send it over walls without vision to take out that dude that just flashed over it. or if you know someone is in the bush then you can send it in to get vision of them and then that allows you to q to them. the simple fact that is is a skillshot has gotten me so many kills and yess I have missed it but that just means i need to aim better or they are just too good at dodging it.

Flask start is standard, the guide has not been updated in a long time and is probably why it still shows boots 3.

As a fellow Fizz player, I have a suggestion to try out. I saw many people grab Crystalline Flask to start so I decided to try it, and it works out quite well. I usually grab that and another health pot or 2 for extra sustain, and then get boots on my first back. The combo of health and mana helps to stay in lane longer and while still being able to use spells, plus the refills every time you back/die save you money from buying more pots each time in the early game.
