Introduction to Rumble.

For those people who haven't gone up against or played Rumble, he's a "bully" in lane. For people who are unfamiliar with this term it means you are supposed to constantly poke the opponent team keeping them away from farm and being offensive. Anti Caster's will beat you in lane, try to avoid them. As Rumble loses some power late game you will want to do as much early and mid harass and damage as possible, try to push carries out of their lane and rack up lots of kills etc.

As a side note, You are NOT a carry, do not expect to be one go into to fights lay down your ultimate and use flamespitter to do massive damage then proceed to W away from the fight.

Runes

For Runes, I take Armor Penatration Makrs, Armor Seals, Cooldown Glyphs and Flat Ability Power Quintessences. This set up allows me to take hits in lane, deal good damage and spam my spells. Other possible Runes are, Ability Power Marks, Dodge or Ability Power Seals, Flat AP or AP per level Glyphs and Health or Magic Penatration Quints.

Masteries

For Masteries I 10/11/9 which gives me all the damage I need and some added tankiness and utility. In this page I take Ability Power, Magic Penatration and improved Ignite in Offense, Evasion and Nimbleness in Defense and Greed, Reduced Death time, Bonus exp and Improved Relic time in Utility. Other options could be 0/21/9, 21/0/9 21/9/0 each being good in their own respective ways, but I find 10/9/11 to be the best.

Items

Rumble is a very versitile Champion, meaning you can build him many different ways. The 3 builds that work the best are Glass Cannon, Tanky AP and Tank. Although I find Tanky AP to be by far the most useful and the build I suggest in this guide. Some items that can be put into this build could be Void Staff, Rabadons, Force of Nature, Thornmail and Warmogs.
The reason I build Tanky AP over Glass Cannon or Tank is because, Glass Cannon dies way to fast to be effective and Tank although very annoying has very litte damage and has very little to contribute to the team. Only time Tank is viable is if your team does not have a tank of its own.

Skill Sequence

Rumble's Skill Sequence can go 3 different ways, Max Flamespitter (Q), Electro Harpoon (E) or Level them Equally. I find maxing Q to be the best way to go here though because it's your main form of farming and high damage harass. Maxing E results in low farm but high CC,and Maxing them equally results in decent farm and decent damage.

Team Work

Rumble is just AMAZING in teamfights. He has High AOE damage and excels at sticking to a target until they're dead. Play him as a main damage of AP but not a carry, in teamfights your job is to isolate the carry and kill them fast. Use your ult when the team fight starts or if you have vision while the other team is coming to you then while everyone is bunched up use your Q and E to do great damage to most people. If you're getting focused you need to play a bit more carefully, stay at the back of the fight and use your E to do some damage then use W and Q to go in out of the fight quickly to do moderate damage. In teamfights you NEED Avoid Distruptive tanks, you need to keep a flow of spells going in teamfights and distruptive tanks will mess this up.

Farming and Laning.

Rumble excels at laning and harassing the opponent away form your creeps. To do so you would want to use W to get in close and then use your Q and E to damage them. Farming is pretty simple use your Q to get the creeps low thenLast hit with Auto attacks and E. Most farming should be done mid game though. Rumble excels at laning when he is paird up with people that can follow up on his Crowd Control (CC) the best lane partners are people like Jarvan, Maokai, Garen for sustained laningd easy harass, for a more offensive lane you'll want to go with people like Talon, Riven and Graves.

Unique Skills

Rumble has many unique skills, one of his most prominent one's the more he spams his spells the stronger he gets, Junkyard Titan is a very useful passive when he's in the Danger Zone he does alot of damage but very waery of that bar, if you overheat during a battle you need to get close which could very well get you killed. Rumble is a very beefy champ who can also do good damage so don't be afraid to be a little aggresive in teamfights. Rumble is one of the best if not the best Bully in the game so capitilize on this aspect of him and bully your lane like no tommorow.

Summary

To summarize, in lane Bully, mid game farm and be aggresive in teamfights and try to support your team late game. His Passive is either a blessing or a curse a good Rumble player will always be keenly aware of his Heat Bar and not let it hit 100 unless he wants it to and stays above 50 at most times. Don't be afraid to use your ult to kill low health people at its tower, its amazing range and good damage make it easy, it also has a low cooldown and Rumble needs the kills. Don't be afriad to go in for a kill even if you'll die from it. Unless you have a killing spree, its worth it.

In summation, Rumble's a great champ and very annoying to the enemy team if played right. I hope this Guide helped you.
