Before level 6 you win. Once you both get level 6 she will kill you IF you miss your q. If your q is on cd and she has ult, stay SAFE.
Morgana
Try to bait her sheild out. Once her sheild is on cd you can easily kill her. DONT try to fight with her sheild up as it will block your q.
Annie
Before level 6 you win. Once you both hit level 6 STAY BACK and poke her down. When you get the chance do your combo. DO NOT let her get in range to do her combo!
Cassiopeia
Be careful of her poke! She can poke you down and kill you easily. Vs Cass you should get boots early so that you can avoid her q more easily. Remember that her ult DOES NOT stop your ult so you can easily all in her IF you hit your q.
Orianna
Depends on the skill of the Orianna player. She has longer range and a heavier poke. Stay back and try to poke her down. If you hit your q do your combo even if it does not kill her. Making her back out of the lane will be great for you as you will most likley be behind in cs. Take tp vs her since you will b a lot.
Karma
When she r + q 's you try to time it with your w. Her sheild can counter you combo (that's IF she maxes it out) so watchout for that. Overall its an easy matchup as long as you play it right.
Zyra
She has SO MUCH POKE however you can easily kill her. Be carefull of her plants since they will block your q.
Syndra
This matchup is the exact same as Annie. Before 6 you win, once you're both 6 stay back and do your combo if you land your q.
Lissandra
Its not a hard matchup but nothing will most likley happend. If you try to combo her she will just r herself and heal up. Its an annoying matchup. Try to get her ult on cd and ask for a gank. ONLY GANK IF HER ULT IS ON CD.
Taliyah
Stay behid minions to avoid her q. Get boots early so that you can avoid her w. Consider taking tp to counter her ult(if she roams).
Anivia
Whenever you know you can kill her take the chance even if her passive is up. why? Her passive is on a LONG cd (A LOT longer then your ult)so getting her passive out of the way is a big deal. Not a hard matchup just make sure you dont get hit by her q.
Veigar
TAKE CLEANSE! why? cuz once he hits 6 he can 1 shot you UNLESS you use cleanse and avoid everything except his ult. Take cleanse and beat him. Without cleanse its A LOT harder.
Twisted Fate
Engage once he just used a blue/red/yellow card. Take tp to counter his ult.
Vel'Koz
Before level 6 you will win. Once he hits level 6 STAY BACK! You can so easily get 1 shot even with your barrier. Play extremly safe once he hits 6.
Aurelion Sol
Be carefull of his passive and w. Try to avoid his q. He does so much damage if he hits his q however you should be able to easily kill him if you do your combo. Consider taking tp to counter his e.
Azir
If the Azir is bad this will be really easy! If he is good it can be hard. Poke him down and combo him once he's low.
Brand
Be carefull of his stun. He can poke you down however if you combo him he should be dead.
Heimerdinger
Tell your jung not to gank(UNLESS he has no turrets). With his turrets dont try to combo him or gank him. he does a lot of damage. If you manage to hit a q(remember his turrets counter your q) combo him. If you stay back and combo him you can kill him. DONT GREED.
Karthus
Get a zhonyas. You will kill him quite easily but remember his passive. He can ult in his passive and the way to counter that is by using your zhonya's.
Kennen
This is a hard matchup. Stay under tower. Once he hits level 6 he will destroy you.
Malzahar
Quite easy. Use your e to get rid of his passive and stay out of his ult range.
Ryze
You simply can't kill him. You can't even poke him down. Stay safe and don't feed him.
Swain
Very similar to lissandra. Nothing will happen between you 2. Try to poke him down and make him leave lane. Getting a kill on him without any help will be hard however possible.
Viktor
Stay back and combo him. Get your w early to avoid some of his damage.
Vladimir
NOTHING will most likley happen in lane. He can avoid your combo so easily and has a lot of sustain. Take tp and try to help other lanes.
Xerath
He will outpoke you and kill you easily. If you are below 40% of hp b and use tp to get back(or ask your jung to defend your tower). Dont try to 1vs1 him as you WILL LOSE.
Ziggs
Get boots early to avoid his poke. This is quite an even matchup and will be hard to get ahead IF the ziggs is good.
Sona
EASY. Just poke her down and combo her when you hit your q.
Kayle
Try to one shot her before she can ult. NEVER TOWER DIVE.
Yasuo
You simply can't kill him. Try to switch lanes or ban him. You will not win lane as Lux vs a yasuo. If he gets even a bit ahead hew ill dive you. Avoid this matchup if possible.
Jayce
He has a lot of poke and burst so stay back. try to poke him and get him 2 leave lane. you can kill him if you get ahead.
Diana
Don't let her farm. Poke her as much as possible. One she hits 6 she can burst u down so be ready to hit your q or use barrier.
Nidalee
Try to avoid her spears. If you get hit by one just q her when she tries to jump. Will be an easy matchup if you play it right.
LeBlanc
Your q timing is everything in this matchup. If you hit your q and do your combo you will win. If you miss it she will burst you down. Take ghost to run out of her chain so that it doesn't connect.
Akali
Don't let her farm. Poke her a lot. When she uses her w e in it. If she bursts you down you will die easily so make sure you land your q.
Katarina
q where her swords land if you think she will e there. This matchup is all about your predicitons. Dont let her farm and poke her.
Fizz
Before 6 you win(you will most likley NOT kill him but you will be pushing) When he hits 6 he can one shot you so getting a zhonya's to avoid his ult can be good. His e will counter everything. Play passive.
Kassadin
Very similar to LeBlanc. Your q timing is everything. If you q after he ults you can kill him, if not he can kill you.
Talon
Take tp to counter his roams. Dont q until you have vision of him. Once you hit your q you should be able to kill him.
Zed
Play extremly passive. Once he hits 6 he will easily kill you. RUSH A ZHONYA'S.
Zilean
Quite an easy matchup. His ult can be annoying but without it he can't do anything.
Ezreal
I take exhaust vs ezreal mid as its a lot easier to land your q and one shot him.
Ekko
His ult counters your ult so be carefull with that. He can kill you but you can kill him. This matchup depends on the skill of the Ekko player.
Varus
His q HURTS a lot. And he can poke you down and kill you. However if you land 1 q you can easily kill him.

Summoner Spells
Summoner Spells
Ghost- Great summoner on lux however there's a lot better ones. If you are confident in your lux skills feel free to take it every game.
Heal- I never take this summoner spell on lux. Most of the mid laners take ignite and ignite counters heal so i don't see the point of taking this.
Barrier- I take this almost every game. Lux is very squishy and barrier can block a lot of damage. Great Summoner on her!
Exhaust- Take it vs assassin's or if your new to lux as it will allow you to hit your q easier.
Cleanse- Take it vs champs that have a stun combo.
Teleport- Take it when your high mobile champs that will mostly likley roam.
Flash- Take it EVERY game. You can flash + q to engage or dis-engage. MUST HAVE!
Ignite- Useless on lux.

Here are 4 combos you can do.
Poke Combo ~ AA + E + AA Harder Poke Combo ~ AA + E + AA + Q + AA Ult Combo ~ Q + E + E + R Harder Ult Combo ~ AA + E * AA + Q + AA + R
Make sure that in your "Ult Combo" you press E twice as it does more damage.

Top ~ Only play Lux top if you are vs a champion that can be played mid (Jayce, Teemo etc.)
Jung ~ This CAN work. There are a lot better junglers but it CAN work. It's really fun to play and can be powerfull.
Apc ~ Don't play her as apc. Lux is really bad in a 2vs2 and the poke from the enemy support will be to much. Its bad and doesn't work.
Support ~ If you want to play her bot lane play her as support (DONT GO FULL AP). It is fun and can be op. Be carefull of taking the kills from your adc.
