Master Yi is usually a very effective ganker, but my build optimizes his basic attack to do maximum damage faster. This way, his attacks land sooner, allowing him to quickly take turrets and even solo the nexus.

Most of the items I use are for increasing Yi's DPS, as he can attack very fast in a short period of time. Other items are for increasing his damage level, speed, or hp, as he is squishy.

Master Yi's skills are very useful, each for their own situation. Alpha strike is good for catching a running champion, and doing a lot of damage to minions. Meditate comes in handy late game, as it heals him over a period of time, while also temporarily giving him armor and magic resist. Wuju Style is his steroid skill. When activated, it doubles the passive buff for a short duration. Lastly, Highlander increases Yi's attack speed and movement speed, allowing him to kill his opponents faster. When an enemy is killed in Highlander state, all of your cool-downs are halved.

Yi is strong enough to take down tough champions, but what about fast ones? Exhaust slows down enemy champions and weakens their armor, meaning and easy kill for the fast yi. Fortification is mostly for the extra minion damage, which helps yi farm early game. It can also effectively stop and opposing team from pushing for a bit.

Yi is a very powerful late gamer, so use his ability to do so wisely.
