Introduction
This is my first guide, hope u will enjoy it.
+ 3 forms of CC (slow, snare, stun)
+ Good wave clear
+ 4 AoE spells
+ Glacial Path is multifunctional ability (escape/gap closer/reposition)
+ Can change teamfight completely
- 2 skillshots (requires practice)
- Long cooldowns
9x Greater Seal of Armor
9x Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
3x Greater Quintessence of Ability Power
Ability Power quints and marks are pretty obvious choice for AP Carry. Armor seals are standard for all junglers. I like to get scaling MR glyphs for protection against AP's late game.
The passive will help you with saving mana early game. Be sure to cast Ice Shard when it's available, because of its huge mana cost.
Your main damage source early game, which has low cooldown. Combine it with your passive to clear camps fast. Remember it also slows your enemies, so u can use it to disengage, gank or chase.
It deals damage and roots enemies around Lissandra. You need to get used to its range, otherwise u will keep wasting it.
Very versatile spell: AoE damage, reposition on second activation, combines well with the rest of your combo.
Correct use of the ultimate differs good Lissandra's from great Lissandra's, as it has 2 ways to cast it - on yourself (works like Zhonya's) or your enemy (stunning him). Wise use of Frozen Tomb is extremely important to win teamfights.
Use Glacial Path to close the gap (works through walls too), then based on your enemy's position either Ring of Frost to snare him and then Ice Shard for slow and damage or if he's too far Ice Shard to slow him and then Ring of Frost to snare.
Again, Glacial Path to close the gap, Frozen Tomb to stun your enemy, Ice Shard for further damage and Ring of Frost to make sure he's not going anywhere after your ultimate's end.
sss | Standard boots for AP carries. Movement speed and magic penetration. |
sss | This item is fine for AP junglers as it gives AP, CDR, mana regen and spellvamp. |
sss | Great item for teamfights, 120 AP, 50 armor and amazing active. |
sss | Standard item for every AP carry. |
sss | I like to get this item because of the mana regen and cooldown reduction it provides. |
sss | Buy this if enemies are stacking MR. |
sss | Buy these if you're looking for early gank potential. |
sss | Or these if you are afraid of enemy's CC. |
sss | Great item against enemies stacking health. |
sss | Get this if you want more CC or health. |
sss | GA is a good late game choice if you need more survivability. |
sss | Simple - if you need extra MR. |
-
- Use ultimate on the right target (enemy carry or yourself),
- Deal as much damage as possible while keeping yourself safe at the same time (Zhonya's and ultimate are your friends here).
Specific actions depend on both teams position, however keep in mind that Lissandra is a good initiator, because she can dive into enemy team, use her AoE combo and pop Zhonya's Hourglass or self cast Frozen Tomb preventing herself from taking any damage for a short time.
