Introduction

Lucian is a very mobile AD Carry. You will need lots of attack damage, attack speed (for your ultimate), and skill (also for your ultimate). What he lacks in CC, he makes up for with HUGE snowball potential. A CC support is nice though such as Leona or Taric.

Flash The best summoner spells. Great for chases either way, You can go over most walls, and get away with dumb moves.

Ignite Great for finishing off a kill on an enemy getting away.

Heal Good for Lucian beginners who want to play it safe. Get this if your support doesn't have any healing abilities or this spell.

Runes

Greater Mark of Attack Damage: This will make your passive, Q, W, and R much better early game

Greater Seal of Armor: This will block a lot of damage from the opposing AD Carry

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: Late game, that Veigar, Karthus or whoever is the other team's mid laner is going to get very, very annoying. This ruin helps a lot. At level 18 you will have 24 MR. This also helps against an opposing AP support.

Greater Quint of Attack Damage: Refer to Greater Mark of Attack Damage

Greater Quint of Attack Speed: Solely for the purpose of making your ultimate better. With lots of attack speed you can dominate team fights and long range 1v1s with this

Passive

USE IT

One of the best passives in the game if used correctly. Many if not most people who play Lucian do not use it. After you use an ability, basic attack before using another! Without this simple key trick you can't play Lucian to nearly his full potential.

Best Lucian Supports

Get support champions with lots of crowd control, as Lucian has none. Leona, Janna, and Thresh are good champions to match up with Lucian. Braum is a good choice too.

Lucian is a good counter pick against Caitlyn and Thresh, but watch out for Vayne. Lucian is horrible against her.

Summary

Lucian is definitely one of the better AD Carry champs out there if used correctly. USE HIS PASSIVE!!! . Use a CC support with him, and make sure to get some attack speed with your AD.
