Lux Build Guide by anEgrahm

Very nice guide and all... But you are missing one crutial component... Mana Regen. You have no mana regen what so ever in this build, as an experienced Lux player I really recomend getting some mana regen in the early levels.

I know Lux very well, ALL of her spells appart from Prismatic Barrier use more than 100 mana each, and her ult is at 200 mana at lvl 3.

In this guide you end up with 1525 mana in total with a full build, that makes up for minimal harass if you want to stay when the actual team fight begins.

Also... you're not getting CDR... every, and I mean really each and every Lux should have CDR at LEAST 20%, that is what Lux is all about! Spamming your ult. With a cooldown of 24-30 secs on your ult you will make people litterally rage quit.

Conclution: GET MANA REGEN! Open the game with a Meki Pendant get greater seal of replenishment later get tear of goddess and archangel staff
CDR, you really need CDR as Lux get Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction and Ionian Boots of Lucidity

its an alright lux build, but as juliman said before it has no mana regen or cdr, a simple evil tome will cover all the cdr you need and gives you some decent AP, as for mana regen, as lux is one of my mains and i always use her i find that evil tome will give me the mana regen i need (just remembered it gives you some) and clarity helps a lot if you find yourself bursting to much, if your good with lux then you wont need flash or clarvoyance, just teleport and clarity and you will be fine, also if you want maximum damage, build a lich bane as it works really well with her passive and you can kill a squishy champion just by binding, auto attack, E, auto attack

Rylai's is quite bad indeed, I am currently revising my Lux build but Rylai's is definitely not going to be a part of it.

For the rest I suggest that you use the Greater Marks, I wouldn't advise anyone to use Tier 2 runes.

Since you are in midlane, you will have more benefits from Magic Resist than from Armor. That is why I recommend mp/5 Seals and Magic Resist Glyphs.

For items I could suggest Zhonya's Hourglass and Lich Bane.

I can see that this guide offers a very simple form of gameplay, that's very good you have my +1

But... I do think that Rylai's is a veeeeeery redundant choice... And I do agree that you need mana regen, so maybe swap Rylai's for a Morello's or an Archangel's (of course, consider prices before the benefits :P)

And please, get the tier 3 runes into your build too :P Even if you list them on your cheat sheet, type "Greater" before the name of the runes and you're set xD

Great guide!

Very good guide - knows that health is not as important due to long casting range.

Go for Zhonya's instead of Abyssal. You already have plenty of MR from BV and LB, while Void Staff takes care of your magic pen. Your laser also outranges the Abyssal Scepter aura, which makes it usually a less-than-desirable pick.
