Introduction

My first go at a build on here, so go easy. I'd like some feedback also to help improve the build.

The basic idea is that you use both your attack, combined with your abilities, especially with you passive to dominate early game, giving a great late game advantage in gold and items. Similar to other builds on here, the build focuses on using an ability, attacking once, then darting away. Using this technique, great harassment can be done on melee characters (like Cho-gath) which cant blink forward to damage you.

Note, dont try this build against Akali, Evelynn, Katarina and any other blinkers i might have forgotten. (the reason being is they completely negate the in and out attacking aspect of the build).

Try to grab the middle lane and solo it, top and bottom are not so great because of ambushes from the grass and because melee characters can force you into the grass and hence closer range, which is often really bad!

Runes

Standard rune choices for increased magic penetration, cooldowns and HP for a little extra early survivability.

Masteries

Again, very standard masteries set up for a caster type, note the choice in flash and teleport. Having these skills on quicker cool downs is invaluable in getting you into or out of the fight asap.

Summary

With a ridiculous 35% cooldown reduction at the end of the game, you are going to be spamming your ulti, every 30 seconds. Try not to miss! In team fights, you are going to spam every ability, and you will have the mana to not even worry about this.

Later on, prismatic barrier can be REALLY useful in team fights, getting some shielding going on can sometimes be the difference between victory and defeat.

Definitely try to stay at the back of the 5 of your group. You're abilities and attack have a very long range and your ulti is obscene. As i said previously, try to do one ability and then strike your target with an attack, then go onto the next ability. Sometimes starting a team fight with your ulti can be beneficial, as the cooldown will allow you to hit it again before the fight is over sometimes, which is great (2 ulti's in 1 fight!), doing something like 800 damage also.

Also, don't always detonate your Lucent singularity as soon as you drop it in a team fight, the slowing factor can be important as some of your melee characters might want to be retreating, while you lay down some good dps.
