*DISCLAIMER* This guide is for Lux at 18, if you want to know how to play her 1-18, please visit some of the other guides, there are good ones here.This is also a Magic Penetration Lux, not an AP stacker, also one last word before I get started her...Riot needs to make a Lux shirt. I would so wear it everywhere lol.

This build is for a Lux carry who is having issues with magpen tanks. It currently has 55% magpen and 48.55 magpen. This is the max you can have in the game when sporting Haunting Guise, Sorcerers Shoes, Void Staff and your Archaic Knowledge mastery.

Now it also reduces cooldowns by almost max cooldown reduction. Here we are looking at 9% from mastery, (.9x9)% + (2.34x3)%, and Deathfire Grasp which gives another 15%. So we are looking at a grandtotal of 39.12. The cap is 40% of course so no need to waste an item on it, and we have all the runes we can use as primaries.

The reason I go for cooldown reduction on a Magic Resist lux is because any good tank or even a good DPS who wants to disrupt you if you are crushing them is going for banshee's veil and personally I find that item very annoying on lux due to her cooldowns so with 39.12 CDR we are able to take her easiest ability to hit with, Lucent Singularity(E), and reduce its Cooldown from 11 to 4.3032. Plent of time to cast your snare, auto attack, cast lucent again, auto attack, and then Finales Funkeln which should make them either dead or dieing if your team is worth anything.

Now the next thing I looked at was Mana used as AP with Archangels along with health. Rod of ages gives us the most bang for our buck here in the mana and health department and Archangels lets us cash in on that. They also give us a nice AP boost to boot.

Again this build is for games where you have either a tank stacking Magic Resist because your whole team is AP/Magic Dmg based or if your the only Magic dealer on the team and the rest are physical...well I guess hes just stupid.
