Why don't you replace doran's ring? It is a great starter item but couldn't you get a better item late game?

I pick Void/Abyssal. But that's personal. Doran's Ring is useful early game, for sure. But I like to have more AP late game. Just my opinion. ;>

In my opinion, the reason you would get rod of ages would be for the mana and for the health, obviously. Such a squishy and generally hard to catch person, you dont really need the health, cuz if you get caught by any ad champ, you'll be gone anyway. The mana is useful i suppose, but like i said, mana-regen > mana for lux in my eyes until late game because you will delay your damage which isn't the most spectacular in the first place.

As for Cv, i suggested it in the alternate summoner spells section. I have no problem with it if you're playing the role of a support, but even then, if you have no mana with which to protect your team, you're not much of a support since your shield doesnt do that much. And while i do support my team, i can play lux as our ap carry and do well.

Dorans in exchange for what?

About the guide, I'd change Doran's Ring for something more useful. Nice guide, anyway.

Did you ever play with Lux ? She's almost nothing without Clarity :< I tried to play without a lot of times, but it's too hard. Even late game, Lux still have mana issues . ;/

Real supports don't take clarity. They take cv. Should mention something about rod of ages too. It's an overused item for a reason.
