I love this build , i use this when i play lux and always come out well.
One thing that bothers me is the Philo stone. I feel its a better idea to get a Tear instead. You can then atleast upgrade it to archangels staff later in the game and not feel like youve wasted an item slot.

Just my personal opinion. I have no mana issues at all with this build when I swap the philo stone for the tear and it benifits me alot more later in the game.

pretty good guide, but i dont think her cons r much of a problem.

early game can be fixed with harassing. using that mana is reduced with runes + doran's ring first item.

her early game ISNT terrible. i was playing against a gangplank mid and he had to go back twice before lvl 6. first time he came back, he bought 4 health pots. lol

heh good thing i checked other lux guides first XD, this is pretty much what i do every lux game =w= except i tend to rush mejai's for the fact that those early kills turns the game around pretty quickly, also if games not going my way i tend to ditch the mejais for thingos evil tome for the cooldown reduction. but usually i do fairly well early game and absolotly DOMINATE mid to end game using a build very similar to this ^^ your only problems would be if they decide to focus Lux down which i've had happen a fair bit X3
