Use the extra AP, regen and health to your advantage until you actually HAVE TO sell them. Only sell your doran's if you dont have room for an item or you need the gold to purchase the new item. Otherwise, keep them until you need your next item! Also, why did you not finish your Athene's? I would probably finish it before the Lich Bane as Bane is, i believe, the most expensive and hard to build item for an AP caster. Just a thought.
