Introduction

This is a fairly common build i mean there are many items that work and it really depends on your play style but i like this selection the most. These items work with malphite very well, i could go through each item and describe why its awesome but i will do that later maybe if i add more to the guide.

My Runes and Masteries:
The reason i pick this is to give a little hurt to malphite, with the CD reductions, mana regenerations, movement speed, increase experience, and magic pen. With all this he becomes a formidable foe while still being tanky.

You will be a great initiator for team fights so even if you don't hit all 5 if you hit at least two stragglers who are running away you can turn the fight over or have you team catch up and pick them off. This would easily turn the tides of battle and then you can even tower dive the other three if you team is good. However, without a good team your ultimate and chase/slow abilities are wasted.

That is my core build you can vary the shoes depending on the team and your liking speed, ninja and mercy are all viable options. The way I generally decide is if the team has at least 2 stuns or possibly someone how is gonna go Madred's Bloodrazor you want the magic resist. Also relative to how many AP vs AD.

You really have to judge the team make up before finishing your build. Their are times when we have gone versus 4AP characters then i would go force of nature before Sunfire cape. Otherwise this build works wonders. Thornmail, finishing Randuin's Omen, or Frozen Heart are all viable options.
