Yeah, which would make for a less mana hungry champion :) Even then, I still wouldn't use many of Malphite's abilities early game to harrass as much, until you hit that 'breaking' level 4. Once you hit that your abilities will do substatially more damage than before.

And, yes! Coupled with that Cataylst you'll be doing almost 6 more abilities without having to Clarity which makes for a much meaner early game! Thank you for the input Jebus McAzn!

One tip: You don't need those massive images in your guide and a link - it's easier to code directly to it as follows:

For the build, I think you get Catalyst a bit too late to be of much use. With no Utility masteries and no mana regen runes, you're extremely mana hungry all throughout early and mid game, which can be a problem when your ultimate is a team-fight changer. One fix I recommend is getting Catalyst before Thornmail and perhaps buying a mana pot or two, if you insist on starting out with Cloth Armor.
