You disregard [Sorcerer's Shoes] based on - It gives you damage, yes, it is possible but omg this is a tank build.
And still suggest two other forms of magic pen, [Greater Mark of Insight] and getting enough points in the offensive tree for [Archaic knowledge], I'd personally see improved clarity, more xp, lower death timers and mana regen as being better on malph.
